This morning, December 19, in Dong Ha City, the Emulation Cluster of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the North Central provinces held a conference to summarize activities in 2023. Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri Province, Head of the Emulation Cluster of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the North Central provinces in 2023 Dao Manh Hung; Head of the Religious Affairs Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Vu Dang Minh co-chaired the conference. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri Province Nguyen Dang Quang; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province Hoang Nam; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the provinces in the emulation cluster including: Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa attended.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang informed about some outstanding results in socio-economic, national defense and security of Quang Tri province. These comprehensive results have the important role and contribution of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province. Provincial leaders highly appreciated the activities of the fronts at all levels in improving the effectiveness of propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang sincerely thanked the attention and direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the close coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of neighboring provinces, especially the provinces in the North Central region.
At the same time, we believe that this conference will meet the expectations of delegates representing the provincial fronts in the region, contributing to promoting the strong development of the North Central provinces, realizing the goals set out in Resolution 28-NQ/TW by 2030, with a vision to 2045, as a dynamic, fast and sustainable development region, strong in marine economy, with a number of large industrial, service and international cooperation centers on par with the Asian region with modern coastal economic zones, a smart, sustainable coastal urban system with its own identity.

The report at the conference stated: In 2023, the work of the Fatherland Front of the provinces in the North Central Emulation Cluster achieved many positive results; the great solidarity bloc of the people continued to be consolidated, strengthened, expanded, creating high consensus among all social classes. The work of propagating and mobilizing people to respond to patriotic emulation movements, campaigns chaired by the Front and member organizations became increasingly creative and effective with many rich contents and forms, attracting the attention of the people. The Fatherland Front of the provinces in the cluster has promoted digital transformation in communication and social interaction on a large scale, contributing positively and importantly to bringing the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, movements and campaigns of the Fatherland Front to the people effectively. Campaigns and patriotic emulation movements were deployed with many new ways, focusing on the grassroots with many bright spots.
Together with the mobilized social resources of the Fatherland Front of the provinces and the support of the state budget through national target programs, it has made an important contribution to implementing the Party's social security policies: supporting the poor to build and repair houses (6,130 solidarity houses); supporting sustainable livelihoods; promptly encouraging and assisting disadvantaged and disadvantaged people in medical examination and treatment, sudden accidents; helping hundreds of thousands of students with their studies; building hundreds of public works and other support to help the poor...

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces in the cluster have developed a program of coordination and unified action for 2024, including key contents. That is, continuing to promote propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people of all walks of life; consolidating, strengthening, and promoting the strength of great national unity, building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. Mobilizing people to compete in studying, working creatively, and successfully implementing economic, cultural, and social development goals, ensuring national defense and security. Strengthening social supervision and criticism; participating in preventing and combating corruption and waste, building a clean and strong Party and government. Strengthening the organization, innovating content and methods, and improving the effectiveness of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's operations. The workshop also listened to discussions and sharing of some outstanding activities and new models and good practices of the provinces in the cluster.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Emulation Cluster of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the North Central provinces in 2023. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces in the cluster continue to deploy focused and key campaigns; implement democracy, promote the role of the People in implementing democracy at the grassroots level, participate in Party building, build a clean and strong government; strengthen supervision and social criticism. Focus on preparing well and successfully organizing the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the spirit of Directive 22-CT/TW of the Secretariat on leading the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term and a number of other key tasks.
