Summary of press and propaganda work on security and order in 2023

This afternoon, February 1, the Provincial Police held a conference to summarize press work and propaganda on security and order in 2023 and deploy the work program for 2024.

In 2023, the propaganda work of Quang Tri Police was focused on, increasingly innovated in both content and form, truly becoming an important bridge between the police force and the people in the area. The propaganda content closely followed the direction of the superior leaders, fully reflecting the activities of the police force from the province to the grassroots level; promptly discovered, commended, and promoted advanced models, encouraged positive factors in the emulation movement "For National Security" and the movement of the whole people to protect national security...

Through propaganda on mass media, the media has created a reliable information channel that contributes to orienting public opinion and building a good image of Quang Tri police officers and soldiers in the hearts of the people. Central and local press reporters have paid attention to and accompanied the police force in providing information and propaganda on the security and order situation, contributing to widely spreading outstanding results and excellent achievements as well as promptly reflecting related issues.

At the conference, delegates contributed many ideas to make the propaganda work on security and order in 2024 more effective, including strengthening coordination between press agencies and police of units and localities; between press reporters and the propaganda team of the provincial police force; focusing on propagating the results of Party building work and building the Quang Tri police force; promptly informing about the crime situation, contributing to orienting public opinion on sensitive and complicated cases related to ensuring security and order.

Recognizing the contributions of the press agencies and reporters in the propaganda work on security and order in 2023, the Provincial Police Director awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 8 individuals.
