Summary of 5 years of implementing the coordination regulations between the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Court

On May 16, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Court (PPC) held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Regulation No. 129-QCPH/BCSĐ/UBND-TAND dated April 16, 2019 on coordination between the two agencies. Comrades: Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC and Le Hung Dung, Chief Justice of the PPC chaired the conference. Attending were comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the PPC and leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

According to the assessment, in the past 5 years, the Party Executive Committees of the two agencies have directed and thoroughly implemented the contents of Regulation No. 129-QCPH/BCSĐ/UBND-TAND. Accordingly, the regime of information exchange and handling of work related to coordination work has been maintained regularly; the quality of work handling has been improved; when problems arise, the leaders of the agencies have promptly exchanged and agreed in many appropriate forms and directed and handled them promptly and effectively. Relevant departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts and cities closely coordinate in providing information, documents, evidence, reviewing, appraising, measuring, valuing assets, participating in litigation, providing documents, evidence, creating favorable conditions for the People's Courts at 2 levels to resolve cases within the time limit prescribed by law... Through good coordination, it has contributed to the successful implementation of the tasks of each agency and ensuring political security, social order and safety and serving the socio-economic development of the province in recent years.

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Concluding the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the results of the coordination between the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee of the People's Court over the past 5 years, which has become increasingly close, unified, and comprehensive, thereby promptly advising the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct the resolution of arising issues and helping the People's Courts at 2 levels in the province to resolve cases well, especially administrative cases, civil cases and the enforcement of judgments. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome in the coordination work, and suggested that in the coming time, the two agencies continue to organize and strictly implement the coordination regulations, focusing on coordinating the resolution of cases, complaints, and lawsuits; strengthening the information exchange mechanism between the parties in the process of advising and resolving cases, especially complicated and sensitive cases, cases and matters related to local security; Strengthen coordination in propaganda, dissemination of legal education, raising awareness among the masses, focusing on key areas with complex political security to maintain social order and safety and promote local socio-economic development. He also requested departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts and cities to strengthen coordination with the People's Courts at 2 levels in implementing the contents set out in the regulations; closely coordinate in providing information, documents, evidence and reviewing and appraising to ensure compliance with the prescribed deadline; at the same time, participate and send representatives to fully participate in meetings to inspect the submission and public access to evidence, dialogue and trials to conduct litigation in court in the spirit of current judicial reform.
