NDO - During a working trip to Ha Giang, with the philosophy of "When drinking water, remember its source", on the afternoon of February 5, General Secretary To Lam and the Central working delegation visited and offered flowers and incense to commemorate and pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery (Ha Giang).
Attending the incense offering ceremony were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Le Minh Hung, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Head of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission; Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; comrades: Le Hoai Trung, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief of the Party Central Committee's Office; Le Thanh Long, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister; Party Central Committee members, leaders of a number of central ministries, departments, branches, the Party Central Committee's Office, the General Secretary's Office and leaders of Ha Giang province, along with representatives of the armed forces, veterans, youth union members and people of all ethnic groups in Vi Xuyen district.
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam and the delegates spent a minute in memory and gratitude for the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people; praying for the souls of the heroic martyrs to rest in eternal peace, and for their sacred souls to continue to bless the nation, for the prosperous and everlasting development of Vietnam. The General Secretary and the delegates vowed to forever follow the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and our people; join hands, be united, and be determined to build the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous and beautiful, firmly entering a new era of development for the Vietnamese nation.

Ha Giang province continues to develop rapidly and sustainably, entering an era of wealth and prosperity with the country.
Construction began in 1990, Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland with the spirit of "living on rocks to fight the enemy, dying and turning into immortal stone".
*In the evening of the same day, General Secretary To Lam and the working delegation visited the Nam Dam Community Cultural Tourism Village (Quan Ba commune, Quan Ba district), presented gifts to policy families and participated in the cultural program of the ethnic people of Ha Giang province.
Here, the General Secretary praised and acknowledged the contributions of the people of all ethnic groups in Quan Ba district to the common achievements of the province and the country. The General Secretary directed the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quan Ba district to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and the achievements that have been achieved, joining hands and overcoming difficulties, striving to compete and determinedly carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, worthy of being a solid "shield" at the border of the Fatherland.

Quan Ba is the gateway district of 4 mountainous districts in the northern border of Ha Giang province, with a fragmented terrain and very difficult transportation. In recent years, with the attention of the Central Government and the province, the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and maintaining borders and landmarks has been implemented synchronously, drastically and effectively by the district. The district's economy has many positive changes, the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved, the poverty rate has decreased by an average of over 7% annually; the economic structure has shifted in the right direction; 3/13 communes have met new rural standards. The district has synchronously and effectively implemented 3 national target programs in the area, period 2021-2025; thousands of workers have participated in vocational training courses, capacity building; creating jobs for more than 18,500 workers; Implemented 134 livelihood projects with more than 9,000 households participating; supported temporary housing elimination for 1,828 households from the national target program and other programs.
On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam presented the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment (Quan Ba District General Hospital) to the ethnic people of Quan Ba district.
Quan Ba District General Hospital is a class II hospital. After many years of use, the facilities of some construction items have degraded, their functions are not synchronized, and they do not meet the requirements for examination and treatment of patients in Quan Ba district and neighboring districts.
After surveying the current situation and receiving the agreement of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province, the provincial Department of Health, the leaders of Quan Ba District General Hospital and Deo Ca Group proposed to build a new 4-storey building with an area of 2,200m2; invest in basic medical equipment; build a gate, yard, front fence, and landscape of the hospital campus. The total investment of the project is expected to be about 30 billion VND, of which the construction and equipment costs are 25 billion VND. According to the plan, the project will be implemented within 120 days from the date of approval by Ha Giang province, the expected start date is March 15, 2025. Deo Ca Group is committed to implementing the construction of the project to ensure progress and quality, contributing to improving the quality of medical infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for medical examination and treatment in the locality.
