During the phone call, President of the Cambodian People's Party and Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen informed General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong about the situation in Cambodia and the successful results of the 7th National Assembly election, highly appreciating the great and comprehensive achievements that the Vietnamese people have achieved.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese people will continue to achieve many new and greater achievements, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen sincerely thanked General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong for sending a letter and phone call to congratulate Cambodia on the successful organization of the National Assembly election, deeply demonstrating the good neighborly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia. Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed his gratitude to the Party, State and people of Vietnam for always giving great support and assistance to the Cambodian People's Party, State and people of Cambodia up to now.
Samdech Techo affirmed that the leaders of the Cambodian People's Party, the National Assembly, and the Government of Cambodia in the coming time, including General, Dr. Hun Manet, who was introduced by the Cambodian People's Party as a candidate for Prime Minister, will continue to preserve and nurture the traditional relationship between the two Parties, two States, and peoples of the two countries to develop to new heights.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong congratulated Cambodia on successfully organizing the 7th National Assembly election, ensuring democracy, fairness, and freedom, and the Cambodian People's Party's great victory, thereby once again affirming the position and role of the Cambodian People's Party under the leadership of President of the Cambodian People's Party, Prime Minister Hun Sen, and the people's trust and strong support for the Cambodian People's Party.
The General Secretary highly appreciated that under the leadership of the Cambodian People's Party led by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodia has achieved many great achievements in various fields; expressed his belief that, promoting the achievements, the new National Assembly and Government of Cambodia led by the Cambodian People's Party and headed by General, Dr. Hun Manet, who has been trusted and recommended by the Cambodian People's Party, will continue to achieve many new and greater victories in the cause of protecting, building and developing the country.
The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam strongly supports the cause of building and developing Cambodia under the leadership of the Cambodian People's Party and the new Government, highly appreciates the contributions of Samdech Techo Hun Sen and the leaders of the Cambodian People's Party to the relationship between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Cambodia in the past time, and hopes that generations of leaders of the Cambodian People's Party will continue to promote this fine tradition.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President of the Cambodian People's Party and Prime Minister Hun Sen expressed their delight at the Vietnam-Cambodia cooperative relationship that has been continuously consolidated and developed extensively, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
The two leaders emphasized the significance and importance of the tradition of solidarity, attachment and mutual assistance as one of the most important factors and the greatest source of strength for the cause of national liberation and independence in the past, as well as in the cause of protecting and building the country of each party and each country at present and in the future. The two sides affirmed to jointly preserve and foster the good bilateral relationship and agreed to continue to closely coordinate and promote cooperation in all fields according to the agreed orientations.
