General Secretary and President To Lam arrived in Ulan Bator for a state visit to Mongolia.

Present at Chenggis airport to welcome General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on the Mongolian side were Foreign Minister B. Batsetseg; Mongolian Ambassador to Vietnam J. Sereejav; Director of the Asian Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs G. Hulan; Acting Director of the Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ts. Ankhbayar.

On the Vietnamese side, there were Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia Nguyen Tuan Thanh; officers and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia.

At the airport, Mongolian girls offered milk cakes according to Mongolian traditional customs and presented flowers to General Secretary and President To Lam; two rows of honor guards along the red carpet and officials came to welcome the General Secretary and President.

General Secretary and President To Lam's visit to Mongolia to continue implementing the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, proactive and active international integration comprehensively, deeply and effectively of the 13th Party Congress, Resolution 34 of the Politburo on a number of major orientations for implementing the foreign policy of the 13th Congress and Directive 25 of the Secretariat on promoting and elevating multilateral diplomacy to 2030; further promoting and deepening bilateral cooperation with each partner.

The visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries; affirming Vietnam's consistent policy of attaching importance to friendly relations with traditional friends, including Mongolia; wishing to promote relations with Mongolia in depth, substance, effectiveness, and suitability to the new situation.

During his state visit to Mongolia, the General Secretary and President is expected to attend the State welcoming ceremony; sign the "Guest of Honor" book; hold talks with the President of Mongolia; witness the signing ceremony of documents; meet with the Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament; meet with the Prime Minister of Mongolia; attend the Vietnam Cultural Day program in Mongolia; visit Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14; visit and meet with officials and staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Mongolia; receive a number of typical Mongolian business organizations...
