Within the framework of his state visit to Ireland, on October 3, in Dublin, General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation witnessed the handover ceremony of cooperation agreements between agencies, units and enterprises of Vietnam and Ireland.

At the ceremony, three Vietnamese agencies and enterprises presented important cooperation agreements. Professor Le Quan, Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Professor Dolores O'Riordan, Deputy Director of Global Cooperation, University College Dublin, presented a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two universities.
According to the agreement, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and University College Dublin will promote comprehensive cooperation through developing joint training and research programs; enhancing the exchange of staff, lecturers, researchers, scientists and students from both universities for teaching, research, study, internship, and cultural exchange in both short- and long-term forms, with or without credit exchange.

At the ceremony, FPT Corporation also presented two cooperation agreements with Irish partners. In particular, FPT Corporation Chairman Truong Gia Binh and Professor Cathal Gurrin, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Computer Science, Director of the ADAPT Center, Dublin City University, presented the Minutes of Cooperation Agreement on developing high-tech human resources.
According to the memorandum of understanding, FPT and the ADAPT Center, Dublin City University will cooperate in training high-tech human resources in the field of AI. Dublin City University will send lecturers to Vietnam to train AI for students of FPT University in Da Nang and organize seminars to exchange teaching experiences with young lecturers of the school. At the same time, Dublin City University will also provide scholarships for young lecturers of FPT University to do PhDs in AI and short-term internship courses for students majoring in AI.
According to FPT Corporation Chairman Truong Gia Binh, the strategy of developing artificial intelligence is closely linked to the destiny of FPT; cooperation with Dublin City University opens a new chapter in FPT's AI engineer training activities.

FPT Corporation General Director Nguyen Van Khoa and Mr. Chris Davis, CEO of Kyndryl Technology Company, signed a framework agreement on cooperation in the field of digital transformation and development of artificial intelligence applications.
In addition, at the ceremony, representatives of Vietjet Air and Castlelake Aviation Company also exchanged a framework agreement on cooperation between the two businesses.

The exchange of cooperation agreement documents between agencies and enterprises to promote the development of high-tech fields, digital transformation, human resource development, in line with the orientation of the relationship, Vietnam-Ireland cooperation, contribute to socio-economic development.
