In the years after liberation, when people's lives were extremely difficult and arduous, literary and artistic works encouraged and motivated the spirit, expressing the heart and breath of life of the people of all ethnic groups in the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak in particular. When people's lives gradually stabilized and developed, artists and writers explored, created, and closely followed the breath of life; struggled with reality, with pens, paper, musical notes, lyrics, cameras... constantly working and creating many literary and artistic works with fresh colors.

Especially in the period of renovation, artists have been creating many works of high quality in terms of ideology and art. Following the generations of veteran and talented artists of the early days, artists of the next generation have gradually affirmed their direction with many artistic works closely following the life of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, highlighting the characteristics of the land, people and cultural identity, highly appreciated by the public, and have won many domestic and international awards. Besides the creative content on the theme of revolutionary war, many literary and creative works on the theme of ethnic life are quite rich and profound. Literature and art have gradually kept pace with the life of the ethnic groups in the area, praising the new and the good, while criticizing the bad, the backward and the evil...

Dak Lak Literature and Arts Association regularly organizes creative field trips and creative camps to villages, remote areas. Through meetings, exchanges, and learning about the lives, thoughts, and feelings of the people there, artists have more emotions and inspiration to create works. Not only that, artists also proactively penetrate reality, experience life with the people to create diverse and profound works, especially those about the spirit of national solidarity. The works are not only rich in genre and content, innovative in form, close to real life, but many of them are of high quality, contributing to the cultural appearance of a land.

On the ideological front, the team of artists always maintains political courage, creating many valuable works. Dak Lak's literature and arts promptly honor and spread humanistic values, living in harmony with nature; upholding solidarity, promoting the cultural identity of the nation, fighting against wrong thoughts and viewpoints...

The work of collecting, preserving and promoting the cultural and artistic heritage of ethnic groups has received special attention; cultural and artistic activities have developed extensively, attracting more and more cadres, party members and people from all walks of life to participate, effectively serving the political tasks of the province. Many art programs, mobile film screenings, cultural and artistic exchanges serving cadres, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in the province, especially in remote, isolated and border areas, have been organized on the occasion of national and provincial holidays. Localities in the province organize festivals and cultural festivals at the beginning of the new year, as well as according to the customs and practices of local people, which are enthusiastically responded by the people with many contents: folk art competitions, folk songs, folk dances, traditional musical instrument performances, culinary competitions, brocade weaving, weaving and organizing traditional festivals of ethnic minorities... This is an opportunity for ethnic minorities in the area to meet, exchange, share experiences in preserving, maintaining and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of their ethnic groups. From there, strengthen solidarity and national pride, build a strong and developed community.

In fact, literature and arts have been increasingly meeting the people's need for spiritual and cultural enjoyment. Each program and work not only contributes to nurturing, enriching and enriching the spiritual and cultural life of people but also acts as a bond that connects the community, creating a harmonious society and strengthening solidarity among ethnic groups.

Faced with the reality and requirements of the new period, along with promoting the creation and promotion of works and projects on revolutionary themes, resistance, national history, and national renewal, Dak Lak Literature and Arts aims to develop in association with preserving national cultural identity, making efforts to restore the beauty and preciousness of the culture of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands; gradually bringing literature and arts about ethnic groups and the land of Dak Lak to the grassroots, villages, especially remote, isolated, and disadvantaged areas; preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of ethnic minorities...

Along with that, building strategies and plans to develop Dak Lak's arts and culture in the direction of the cultural industry's approach will help arts and culture have new vitality, closer to the needs and aspirations of the people.
