The "Brothers Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles 2024" program brings together 33 famous faces from various fields. This is one of the most anticipated television shows after the success of "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" in 2023.
As a notable participant in the program, singer Bang Kieu said he felt fortunate to have accepted the invitation to join "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles."
"This is a significant milestone in my career. Not only me, but all the guys participating in this program want to give the best performances to the audience," the male singer said.

Bang Kieu also jokingly said that he used to just stand in one place to sing, but in this show, he will have some rope swinging and handstand performances. The male singer affirmed that he will give his all and won't be afraid of anything.
Former football star Hong Son is the oldest participant in the program and also a unique factor. His weakness is singing, but with his passionate sporting spirit, Hong Son says he's not afraid of challenges, although he still feels quite nervous.
He received support from his family and relatives, which gave him extra motivation to perform on stage. He also sought advice from singers, musicians, and directors regarding his debut performance at the show. Hong Son hopes that the talented individuals will come together and deliver impressive performances for the audience.
Becoming a contestant at the age of 45, Tuan Hung said that after many years in the profession, he realized that his greatest achievement is his wife and children. He gains more musical inspiration thanks to his ideal companions.

Sharing more about the program, a representative from the production team said that while "Beautiful Women Riding the Waves" aims to help women over 30 overcome age barriers, pursue their passions, and push their limits, the 33 men over 30 in "Brothers Overcoming Thousands of Obstacles" are in their prime, at their most energetic and vibrant age.
When asked about the criteria for selecting the contestants for the next round, a representative from the production team said that "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" is not purely a singing or dancing competition.
Talented contestants must know how to sing, but singing well isn't the only criterion. They are also judged on aspects such as teamwork and using individual talents to enhance the group performance. Therefore, the highest criterion is "unity and the effort to surpass oneself."

In addition, the program includes a song auction to ensure fairness. Whether the contestants win advantageous or disadvantageous songs depends on their strategy. The producer's representative also downplayed public comparisons between "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" and another program airing at the same time. She believes that the popularity of a program is determined by the general audience. The value of the program lies in the fact that the talented individuals convey a positive message to viewers.

Each night, 350 audience members in the studio evaluate and vote to determine the rankings of the performances and the firepower points awarded to each contestant. Each audience vote is equivalent to 10 firepower points. These points help them overcome the challenges set by the program. Notably, the program includes a song auction segment, and the performance order will be determined by these firepower points. The finalists will form the "All-Powerful Family."
