Thanh Nhã scored a goal for the Vietnamese national team in the match against Germany. Despite losing 1-2, the Vietnamese team's performance against the world's second-ranked team (according to FIFA rankings) received much praise. Thanh Nhã's goal was the result of a series of missed opportunities by Tuyết Dung, Dương Thị Vân, and Vũ Thị Hoa.
" The emotions at that moment were hard to describe. All I could do was run to celebrate with my teammates and continue fighting alongside everyone until the very last seconds of the match ," striker Thanh Nha shared after the game.
Thanh Nhã added: " I feel very happy and joyful. That goal wasn't just mine, but also the result of the whole team's effort. I feel very honored ."

Before the match against Germany, many feared the Vietnamese women's team would suffer a heavy defeat. Even in a lighthearted comment after the match, goalkeeper Kim Thanh didn't think she would only have to pick the ball out of the net twice. That result came from the training process over the past period, coupled with the unwavering fighting spirit of the entire team.
" The German women's team has a tall and strong physique. There is still a certain difference between our team and the German team. But that doesn't mean we'll give up; the whole team tried their best and played with all their might ," Thanh Nha affirmed the Vietnamese women's team's determination in the recent match.
Tomorrow (June 26th), Thanh Nha and her teammates will return to Vietnam after a long training camp. The team will continue training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. On July 7th, the women's national team will travel to New Zealand to play two friendly matches against the home team and Spain before participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup.
