Phu Binh people join hands to build new countryside

The collectives received Certificates of Merit from the District People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" for the period 2021-2025.

Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations of Phu Binh have actively implemented the Campaign with practical solutions such as: Mobilizing nearly 18.3 billion VND for social security work; building and repairing 150 houses for poor households and policy families; presenting thousands of gifts to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households; creating conditions for people to borrow preferential loans for economic development with a total loan of nearly 1.3 billion VND. In infrastructure construction, Phu Binh people have voluntarily donated over 205,000m² of land, contributed nearly 250 billion VND and 147,000 working days, contributing to the renovation and hardening of 115.5km of rural roads.

Individuals received Certificates of Merit from the District Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" for the period 2021-2025.

Thanks to the consensus and joint efforts of the entire population, by 2025, the poverty rate of Phu Binh will be only 2.13% (down 0.85% compared to 2021); the near-poor household rate will be 2.56% (down 4.4% compared to 2021). The rate of households achieving cultural family status in 2024 will be 95.86%, an increase of 3% compared to 2021. In particular, the district has been recognized as meeting new rural standards in 2022 and completed the application for recognition as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

At the Conference, the People's Committee of Phu Binh district awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives and 20 individuals; the District Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 30 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" for the period 2021-2025.
