Hai Phong Securities Joint Stock Company (stock code: HAC) has just announced unusual information about receiving resignation letters from many senior leaders.
Accordingly, the company said it had received resignation letters from 4 members of the Board of Directors since September 20 due to personal reasons and inability to continue their duties. Specifically, the 4 members of the Board of Directors of the company who resigned include Mr. Vu Duong Hien - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Vu Xuan Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Nga and Mr. Doan Duc Luyen - Member of the Board of Directors.
At the same time, Hai Phong Securities also received two resignations from members of the Board of Supervisors, Ms. Doan Thi Thuy and Ms. Khoa Thi Thanh Huyen. Previously, at the end of August, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet - Member of the Board of Directors of the company and Ms. Nguyen Thi My Trang - Head of the Board of Supervisors - also resigned for personal reasons and were approved.
At the extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on September 21, the company elected 5 additional members to the Board of Directors, including Mr. Chu Viet Ha, Ms. Ly Thi Thu Ha, Mr. Le Ngoc Hai, Mr. Ninh Le Son Hai, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai.

The Congress also approved the results of the election of additional members to the Board of Supervisors for the 2021-2026 term, including members Mr. Pham Minh Hieu, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien and Mr. Le Tuan.
Hai Phong Securities Joint Stock Company was established on October 21, 2003. The company was listed on UPCoM since 2016. Regarding business performance, in the first 6 months of the year, Hai Phong Securities recorded operating revenue of VND 39.7 billion, down more than 28% over the same period.
Total operating expenses in the first half of the year reached VND24.4 billion, down 8.8%. As a result, the company reported a profit after tax of more than VND7.7 billion, down 66.7% over the same period.
By the end of June, Hai Phong Securities' total assets reached nearly VND280 billion, a slight increase compared to the beginning of the year. On the other side of the balance sheet, total liabilities were more than VND9.1 billion, all of which were short-term debts. The company's equity by the end of the second quarter reached VND270.7 billion, an increase of 3% compared to the beginning of the year.
