After 1.5 days of deliberation, on the afternoon of January 20th, the Trial Panel of the criminal case "Terrorism aimed at overthrowing the people's government; Terrorism; Organizing illegal exit and entry for others; Concealing crimes" that occurred in Cu Kuin district ( Dak Lak province) announced the verdicts for 100 defendants on the charges of: Terrorism aimed at overthrowing the people's government; Terrorism; Organizing illegal exit and entry for others; and Concealing crimes.

After objectively and comprehensively reviewing the case, aggravating and mitigating circumstances, and in accordance with the humane policies of the Party and State and the leniency of the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Trial Panel has sentenced the defendants as follows:
Ten defendants were sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime of "Terrorism": Y Sôl Niê (born in 1979, residing in North Carolina, USA) - the key leader and commander; H Wuêñ Êban (born in 1967, residing in Sut Mđưng hamlet, Cư Suê commune, Cư M'gar district, Đắk Lắk province) - the key leader and commander; Y Thô Ayŭn (born in 1987, residing in Ea Klǒk hamlet, Cư Pơng commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province); Y Chanh Niê (born in 1996, residing in Adrơng Điết hamlet, Cư Pơng commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province); Y Jŭ Niê (born in 1968, residing in Kang hamlet, Ea Knuêc commune, Krông Pắk district, Đắk Lắk province). Y Tim Niê (born in 1997, Dhia 1 hamlet, Cư Né commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province); Y Chun Niê (born in 1990, Adrơng Điết hamlet, Cư Pơng commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province); Nay Yên (Ea Klǒk hamlet, Cư Pơng commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province); Y Nơt Siu (born in 1978, Kbuôr hamlet, Cư Pơng commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province); Y Giốp Mlô (born in 1996, Cư Kanh hamlet, Ea Sin commune, Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province).
The defendants convicted of the crime of "Terrorism against the people's government" include: Y Pho Niê, Y Diơh Kbuôr, Y Jôl Arul, Y Dăr Kbuôr, and Y Khing Liêng, each sentenced to 20 years in prison; defendants Nay Tam and Nay Dương were each sentenced to 19 years in prison.
Defendants Y Choa Niê, Y Gol Ayŭn, Y Thuôt Kbuôr, and Y Nen Mlô were each sentenced to 18 years in prison; defendant Y Thương Niê was sentenced to 17 years; defendants Y Ba Byă, Y Bluiêt Mlô, and Y Phai Byă were each sentenced to 16 years; defendants Y Li Phôch Niê and Y Krông Phôk were each sentenced to 15 years; defendant Y Chuyên Niê was sentenced to 14 years; defendants Y Blơh Mlô and Ksor Sơm were each sentenced to 13 years; and defendant Y Wôl Arul was sentenced to 12 years.
At the same time, the defendants included Y Khuik Ayŭn, who was sentenced to 11 years in prison; Y Văn Niê, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison; Y Khuê Niê and Y Thoă Niê, who were sentenced to 9 years in prison; Y Tế Êban, Y Dân Niê, Y Wương Niê, Y Pa Mlô, Y Quê Bkrông, Y Suôr Êdi Niê, and Y Triên Niê, who were each sentenced to 8 years in prison; Y Ha Mlô, Y Khuin Knul, Y Jŭ Ayŭn, Y Lip Pin Niê, Y Chi Kbuôr, and Y Khương Niê, who were each sentenced to 7 years in prison; and Y Pôl Niê, Y Đhoăn Ayŭn, Y Kač Êban, Y Khơn Niê, and Y Bik Mlô, who were each sentenced to 6 years in prison for the crime of "Terrorism against the people's government."
For the six defendants who are fugitives abroad and convicted of "terrorism," the Dak Lak Provincial People's Court sentenced Y Mut Mlô to 11 years in prison, Y Quynh Bdap to 10 years in prison; and Y Čhik Niê, Y Niên Êya, Y Bút Êban, and Y Chanh Byă each to 9 years in prison.
Convicted of the crime of "Terrorism," the court sentenced defendant Y Rưk Byă to 9 years in prison; Nay Y Bớp to 8 years; Y Huăl Êban to 7 years; defendants Y Hải Niê, Y Xa Lem Arul, Y Suôl Êban, Y Nguyên Niê, and Y Kom Kbin each to 6 years; defendants Nay Chuk and Y Măn Mlô each to 5 years; and defendants Y Sơnak Mlô and Y Kơnh Ayŭn to 4 years. Additionally, defendants Y Bheo Niê was sentenced to 7 years; Y Khuên Mdrang and Y Ngur Bkrông each to 6 years; and Y Nit Niê, Y Pheo Niê, Y Phen Byă, Y Nu Niê, Y Bhiêu Hwing, Y Wiêt Byă, Y Phi Li Arul, and Y Tuân Niê each to 5 years. Y Sơñ Êban, Y Tlôp Mlô, Y Bhil Niê, Y Klung Kbuôr, Y Mi Lô Buôn Yă, Y Suôt Êban, Y Luyên Êban, Y El Byă, Y Viên Rơ Ô, Y Un Byă were each sentenced to 4 years in prison; Y Âu Kpă, Y Quynh Mlô, Y Tăp Liêng, Y Nhơ Kpă, Y Drǒk Hwing, Y Tri Arul were each sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison.
Defendant Le Van Nghia was convicted of "Organizing illegal entry and exit for others," and sentenced to 2 years in prison. Defendant Y Čing Byă was convicted of "Concealing a crime," and sentenced to 9 months in prison.
The Trial Council also ruled that 92 defendants in the case must provide civil compensation to agencies, organizations, and individuals who suffered material and emotional damage.
