At the seminar, delegates exchanged and discussed the following contents: achievements, difficulties, obstacles, as well as experiences in 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 100-KL/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee Secretariat on innovation and improvement of the quality of investigation, grasping and researching public opinion; assessment of the position, role and importance of investigation, grasping and researching public opinion; forms, methods and approaches to investigation, grasping and researching public opinion in the area, specific models; work on building and perfecting the team of collaborators; recommendations and proposals to the Central Government on implementing investigation, grasping and researching public opinion, etc.
According to Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Tho Truyen, after 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 100, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee regularly requests party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to pay special attention to public opinion work.

Thereby, the District Party Committees, County Party Committees, and Party Committees at the grassroots level proactively develop projects, programs, plans, and topics at their level to continue to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of research work and grasp public opinion. Many contents reflecting and results of public opinion surveys have high criticality, and are of interest to Party Committees and authorities at all levels to promptly and satisfactorily resolve many issues and incidents. Thereby, contributing to stabilizing the political situation, mood, and ideology of cadres, Party members, and people, creating consensus in society.
In addition to the achieved results, comrade Nguyen Tho Truyen also acknowledged that there are still some limitations in implementing Conclusion No. 100 of the 11th Party Central Committee Secretariat. Especially with the requirements of a large city, in the context of the world and regional situation with many new complicated developments, with many potential factors causing instability and unpredictability, deeply affecting the thoughts and moods of cadres, party members, and people in the country and the city.
