Seminar “Journalists - Glory and Responsibility”:...

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 / June 21, 2025), with the agreement of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province and the Editorial Board of the People's Army Newspaper, on the morning of April 24, at the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Training School National Monument (Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province), the People's Army Newspaper Journalists' Association, in coordination with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists' Association, organized a seminar with the theme "Journalists - Glory and Responsibility".

The seminar aims to contribute to reviewing the glorious traditions, clarifying the great contributions, and affirming the noble mission of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism in the struggle for national independence, national reunification, and the building and protection of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; while also fostering and educating pride and love for the profession among current journalists.

Major General Doan Xuan Bo, Member of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper, and other delegates attended the seminar.

Journalist Nguyen Bao Lam, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association; and Colonel Le Ngoc Long, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Chairman of the Vietnam People's Army Newspaper Journalists Association, co-chaired the seminar.

Colonel Le Ngoc Long, representing the People's Army Newspaper, presented 33 special issues of the People's Army Newspaper published at the Dien Bien Phu Front to representatives of the Tan Thai Commune People's Committee - the unit managing the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School National Historical Site.
