In his opening remarks, Meritorious Artist Dang Cong Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, stated: Over the past 50 years, Gia Lai's literature and arts have affirmed their solid position through the connection between tradition and modernity. The works of artists and writers not only vividly reflect the life and people of Gia Lai but also create symbols of the resilience and self-reliance of a land full of potential; contributing to the preservation of traditional values while embracing new elements from the world .
Despite achieving many commendable accomplishments, Gia Lai's literature and arts still face significant challenges in the current context. These include global integration, the relentless development of technology leading to the fading of traditional cultural values, and considerable pressure on artists to constantly innovate and create to avoid falling behind. Furthermore, there are barriers in infrastructure and resources supporting creative activities. This poses a crucial task for the future: to continue preserving and promoting traditional values while simultaneously fostering innovation and creativity.
At the seminar, the delegates' presentations focused on highlighting achievements and some solutions for preserving and developing traditional cultural identity in the context of integration and development, such as: Gia Lai music - 50 years accompanying the country; Painter Xu Man - a source of creative inspiration; Folk art - Results of collection and research; Contemporary Gia Lai literature - issues to ponder…

Speaking at the seminar, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich expressed gratitude for the contributions of many generations of artists and writers to the development of Gia Lai's literature and art over the past 50 years, thereby making important contributions to the overall development of the province.
Looking ahead, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the province's artists will continue to build upon the achievements already made with the motto "integrate but not assimilate"; and that senior artists will focus on guiding the younger generation.
