On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and major holidays, on the morning of March 26, the People's Committee of Da Nang City organized the exhibition "Da Nang - Development and Integration", many modern missile complexes and armored vehicles were displayed.

This morning (March 26), at Tien Son Sports Palace, the People's Committee of Da Nang City opened the Exhibition "Da Nang - Development and Integration" to celebrate the 95th anniversary - the founding day of the Da Nang City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary - the Liberation Day of Da Nang City.

The exhibition aims to introduce the city's potential, strengths, achievements in socio-economics, national defense and security to the people, investment partners, domestic and foreign enterprises in order to exploit the maximum development potential of Da Nang city for the whole region and the whole country; is an opportunity to promote the Vietnamese brand, the Da Nang brand, creating stimulus in trade promotion, tourism and investment activities.

The exhibition is displayed on a land area of ​​over 10,800 m² and is designed into 3 key areas.

In particular, the area displaying equipment and vehicles of the armed forces is chaired by the City Military Command, coordinating with agencies and units stationed in the area to implement.

The area has a total area of ​​3,450m2 and is divided into 04 sub-areas to display and introduce equipment and vehicles of the Army and Police in performing tasks in areas with strategic positions in terms of National Defense and Security of the country.

The Gladius Mille sniper rifle on display at the exhibition is manufactured in Italy and uses 7.62x51mm ammunition. It has an open length of 1180mm, a weight of 6.7kg and an effective range of 1200m.

Modern military equipment first appeared before the public in Da Nang.

The C125-2TM air defense missile complex on display at the exhibition is a mobile air defense missile complex used to combat modern air attack vehicles in complex interference conditions, ensuring effective destruction of low-flying, small-sized targets under the influence of all radio interference.

Military equipment attracts many domestic and foreign tourists. The exhibition will take place for 5 days, from March 26 to 30.

Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City emphasized: "The Exhibition is an opportunity for us to review the heroic tradition and be proud of the achievements that the Party Committee, the Government and the People of the city have created with their strong will, intelligence, creativity and solidarity. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to affirm the position of Da Nang city as the economic - cultural - social and tourism center in the Central - Central Highlands region on the journey of development and international integration".
