From the day the August Revolution succeeded until his passing, President Ho Chi Minh always cared for and gave the Party Committee and people of Thai Binh his affection, attention, timely encouragement, and support for the movement of the province. Thai Binh was honored to welcome Uncle Ho to visit 5 times, he left deep memories in the hearts of cadres, party members and people of Thai Binh. Those are glorious historical milestones, demonstrating his deep concern and affection for Thai Binh province; forever the honor and pride of the Party and people of the province.

65 years ago, on October 26, 1958, President Ho Chi Minh visited Thai Binh for the third time, when the province had just achieved great victories in agricultural production, building labor exchange groups and cooperatives. Over the past 65 years, Uncle Ho's deep feelings and loving advice have been deeply engraved in the minds of every citizen and have become a great spiritual motivation, urging the Party Committee and people in the province to constantly strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges to achieve important achievements.

In particular, in recent years, implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, in the context of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Party Committee and people of Thai Binh have overcome all difficulties and challenges and achieved important achievements in all fields. Many goals and tasks have been effectively implemented, many bottlenecks and bottlenecks have been focused on removing; many strategic development programs and plans have been planned; the province's investment environment has been significantly improved, becoming an attractive investment destination for prestigious enterprises and corporations. The economy has continuously achieved a good growth rate, the economic structure has shifted positively towards industrialization and modernization, the scale and potential of the economy have been constantly improved: the growth of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2022 increased by 9.52%; In the first 9 months of 2023, it increased by 7.72% over the same period, ranking 13th nationwide and 6th in the Red River Delta. Thai Binh has emerged as a bright spot in attracting investment, especially foreign investment. As of September 2023, there were 322 investment projects in the Economic Zone and Industrial Parks, with a total investment capital of VND 134,850 billion, of which FDI capital reached over 2 billion USD. The cultural and social fields have made much progress. The poverty rate has dropped to more than 2%, half of the national average. National defense and security have been strengthened, social order and safety have been maintained. The work of organizing Party building and building the political system has been regularly directed and achieved many positive results. The organization of agencies in the political system from the province to the grassroots level has been arranged and consolidated in a streamlined direction. The direction and administration activities of governments at all levels continue to be innovated; the effectiveness and efficiency of state management are improved.
