Organizing Hue International Sculpture Creation Camp 2025

The purpose of the Project to organize the Hue International Sculpture Creation Camp 2025 is to create an environment for creative exchange between domestic and international artists, thereby promoting the development of sculpture in Hue, bringing new works with diverse styles. Bringing art closer to the public by displaying works in prominent locations, helping people and tourists have the opportunity to admire and feel the beauty of sculpture in daily life.

In addition, the creative camp also contributes to preserving and promoting the heritage value of Hue Ancient Capital, affirming Hue's position as a cultural and artistic urban area worthy of a centrally-run city, while enhancing its appeal to domestic and foreign tourists.

Specifically, according to the project, the Hue International Sculpture Creation Camp 2025 will be held in the park space along the North bank of the Perfume River (from Nghinh Luong Dinh to the foot of Da Vien Bridge) from November 21, 2025 to December 5, 2025; Closing on December 8, 2025. The creation camp is expected to have 30 domestic and foreign authors participating, bringing 30 sculptures to the public.

The sculptures will be created on granite with a maximum width of 2m and a maximum height of 3m. The content of the works will focus on reflecting the beauty of Hue culture, the contemporary life of the heritage city and the spirit of international integration; honoring the identity of the ancient capital, at the same time demonstrating the connection, cultural exchange and highlighting the language of the art form of sculpture in public spaces, contributing to the renewal of Hue urban space.

According to the Hue Festival Organizing Committee, the creative camp will be an opportunity for international artists to bring new perspectives and styles, while creating a space for dialogue between cultures, enriching the artistic life in Hue. Each sculpture not only demonstrates the artist's talent but also reflects diverse cultural identities, serving as a bridge to help the community understand and appreciate each other better. The exhibited works will contribute to affirming Hue as a Festival city, a unique cultural and artistic destination, enhancing the city's image on the world tourism map.

The sculptures in the creative camp, after being handed over to Hue city, will become long-term artistic assets, not only creating a mark for the urban space but also promoting tourism, especially during the National Tourism Year 2025, when Hue becomes the center of tourist attraction./.
