Bui Quynh Hoa surpassed 17 contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 on the evening of September 29.
After the contest, the new beauty queen continuously faced suspicions that the organizers "paved the way" for her to be crowned and bought the prize.
At that time, Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 and Bui Quynh Hoa both denied the above rumor.
