A wedding is one of the most important events in a person's life, so there are many unique wedding planning models. Understanding this need, the space tourism company Space Perspective has created a space flight service for couples.
Space Perspective co-founder Jane Poynter said that when the service was introduced, the company received requests from couples eager to exchange their vows in space.

According to Space Perspective, the Neptune spacecraft is a revolutionary breakthrough for the company, designed to take off from the ground at a gentle speed (12 miles per hour), a speed suitable for everyone; anyone healthy enough to fly a normal commercial airline can participate.
With its unique design, future couples won't have to worry about the pressure changes experienced by astronauts on other space flights while suspended in space.
Not only that, the Neptune spacecraft is completely environmentally friendly. Neptune is propelled by renewable hydrogen, so there are no rockets or associated carbon emissions. Space Perspective also features large windows to create a special backdrop for wedding photos of couples participating in the service.
Vincent Bachet, head of technology development at Space Perspective, said Neptune's window is "the largest window ever to fly into space" and features ultra-durable materials and a special UV-resistant coating.

According to Space Perspective CEO Taber MacCallum, the windows will be "the essence of the experience" and will create the perfect setting for a wedding.
Space Perspective was founded by two former crew members of Biosphere 2—a scientific research facility on Earth systems in Arizona. They are experts exploring the potential of closed ecosystems in space to support future human life.
Many couples eager to explore space with their significant other have joined the waiting list on the Space Perspective website and are ready for a memorable space flight.
