Organizing a conference to implement the resolution guiding the organization of explanations

The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued Plan No. 739 on organizing a conference to implement Resolution 969/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee guiding the organization of explanation activities at the National Assembly Council and Committee meetings. According to the plan, the conference will take place on the morning of March 19 at Thang Long Room, National Assembly House.

The conference aims to thoroughly grasp and properly implement the policy of the National Assembly Party Delegation in Conclusion No. 843 dated August 3, 2022 on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of the National Assembly's supervisory activities; Resolution No. 969 dated January 25, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee guiding the organization of explanation activities at the meetings of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees, relevant documents and meet the requirements of innovation in supervisory activities.

At the same time, it creates synchronization, unity and initiative of agencies in implementing Resolution No. 969, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of accountability activities of National Assembly agencies.

As planned, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will chair the conference. Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong will co-chair the conference.

The conference will focus on disseminating and implementing Resolution No. 969 of the National Assembly Standing Committee guiding the organization of explanation activities at meetings of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees.

At the same time, focus on discussing and clarifying the organization of accountability activities in the coming time, solutions to effectively implement Resolution No. 969, contributing to improving the quality of accountability activities at the meetings of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees.

Previously, on January 25, 2024, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue signed and issued Resolution 969/NQ-UBTVQH15 Guiding the organization of explanation activities at meetings of the Nationalities Council and Committees of the National Assembly.

The Resolution clearly stipulates the criteria for selecting issues to be explained and the person requested to explain and the person requested to participate in the explanation.

Accordingly, the selected issue to be explained is a specific issue, a current and urgent incident that has arisen in social life; an issue that many National Assembly deputies, members of the Nationalities Council, members of the National Assembly Committee, public opinion, voters and the People are interested in, requiring timely clarification and resolution to ensure the interests of the State and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals.

The National Assembly Standing Committee's issuance of a resolution on accountability activities with specific regulations on criteria for selecting issues to be explained, people requested to explain, people requested to participate in the explanation; conclusions on issues to be explained... clearly demonstrates the spirit of the National Assembly always innovating in its activities.
