Organizing a political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2025

DTO - On April 1, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department issued a plan to organize a political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2025 (abbreviated as the Contest) in Dong Thap province.

Contestants are cadres, party members and people living, studying and working in Dong Thap province whose political works meet the criteria of the Contest are eligible to participate (except members of the Organizing Committee, the Jury and the Secretariat).

The entries are political works in Vietnamese (or ethnic languages ​​translated into Vietnamese), belonging to one of the following categories: Magazine (printed or electronic), newspaper (printed or electronic), radio/television/video clip, ensuring the regulations on form stated in the Contest Rules. The entries are original creative works, not published in the mass media and social networks before the launch of the 5th Central Political Contest in 2025 (October 20, 2024). Written works must ensure the non-duplication ratio according to regulations (no more than 20% duplication for the Magazine category, no more than 25% duplication for the Newspaper category compared to other works of the author/author group or of another author/author group).

The theme of the work focuses on fundamental, core issues, emerging issues in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against current erroneous and hostile views. The works must ensure scientific, Party-like, combative, directional qualities, closely combining "building" and "fighting". Works with creative ways of expression, updated information, and new discoveries are encouraged.

Regarding copyright, the works must be free of copyright disputes from the time of submission. The author/group of authors or relevant agencies must not use the works in this contest to participate in other contests. Works published on mass media and social networks must be notified and sent with proof of publication/posting to the locality or unit that is the focal point for receiving the works. The Organizing Committee of the Contest has the right to use the works in the contest to publish/post on media and social networks to serve the propaganda work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views.

The Organizing Committee will receive entries from the launch of the Contest until May 30, 2025 (based on the postmark); will not be responsible for lost or damaged entries due to postal errors; will not return entries in any case. The Organizing Committee of the Contest awarded prizes to the works of authors/groups of authors, including: 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 7 C prizes, 10 Encouragement prizes; 3 Excellent Collective prizes for localities and units that directed the organization and implementation of the Contest in a broad, creative, and quality manner; with many entries of good quality, of which at least 1 work won an A prize.

The closing ceremony and award ceremony of the Provincial Competition is expected to be held in July 2025 on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Sector's Traditional Day (August 1, 1925 - August 1, 2025).
