Vinh Phuc province promotes and advertises tourist destinations in the central region

The conference is an opportunity for businesses and investors to learn more about the culture, people, and tourism development potential of Vinh Phuc province; an opportunity for investors, travel businesses, and domestic golf clubs to meet, exchange, cooperate in investment, and connect for tourism development.

This is also a convenient bridge for Vinh Phuc tourism businesses to introduce products, connect with travel agencies, golf clubs and tourists in the central region; creating opportunities for Vinh Phuc to enhance tourism promotion.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu affirmed that the locality has many strengths in tourism development.

From 2015 to present, Vinh Phuc province has invested 2,577 billion VND of state budget capital in infrastructure in tourist areas. Up to now, the province has a total of 40 projects of investors and a number of investment works in the tourism sector that have been granted investment licenses with a total registered capital of over 21,162 billion VND; of which 11,336 billion VND has been implemented, reaching 55% of the committed capital.

Located entirely in the geographical-cultural transition zone from the mountainous region, the Northwest midlands to the Southeast plain of the Red River Delta, nature has endowed Vinh Phuc province with three landscape regions: mountainous, midland, and plain; creating for Vinh Phuc a whole "Mountains surrounded by rivers, magnificent mountains and beautiful waters".

Currently, in Vinh Phuc province, there are a total of more than 1,400 historical and cultural relics, with 533 ranked relics; of which 69 are national relics (6 special national relics, 63 national relics), 464 are provincial relics.

On January 25, 2022, Vinh Phuc was honored to be recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National Tourist Area. On November 11, 2022 in Muscat, Oman, the World Travel Awards honored Tam Dao town as "The World's Leading Tourist Town 2022". In 2024, Tam Dao town continued to receive the award "The World's Leading Destination Town" and the Vinh Phuc golf course system was in the top 5 most favorite golf courses"

Vinh Phuc province is also famous for its unique cultural heritages that have been recognized as National Intangible Cultural Heritages: Tay Thien Mother Worship, Song Huong Canh Festival, Ngu Doi Temple Water Procession Festival; unique folk songs and dances: Duc Bac drum singing, Soong Co singing...

In addition to developing eco-tourism, spiritual tourism and festivals, Vinh Phuc province also invests heavily in high-end resort tourism, MICE tourism and golf tourism to target tourists with high income and spending. In recent years, high-end resort tourism, MICE tourism and golf tourism have made breakthroughs, bringing in large revenues for the Vinh Phuc tourism industry...

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu, with its natural and cultural strengths, Vinh Phuc province's tourism industry has developed dramatically, gradually becoming an important economic sector.

Tourists to Vinh Phuc are increasing rapidly, with an average growth rate of 15% per year in the period 2015-2019. In 2024, Vinh Phuc tourism is expected to welcome more than 10.6 million visitors; total tourism revenue is estimated at 4,000 billion VND.

Currently, the locality has approved the planning of 6 key tourist service areas and implemented many investment projects to build tourism infrastructure using the state budget.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu said that to further develop the tourism industry, Vinh Phuc province will prioritize tourism investment projects, focusing on developing tourism types with potential and competitive advantages. Accordingly, it will develop eco-tourism, resorts, cultural and spiritual tourism, festivals, MICE tourism, golf sports tourism, etc.
