On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on the afternoon of December 20, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee led a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province to visit and present flowers to congratulate the Command of Military Region 3 and the Command of the Navy. The delegation included Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
On behalf of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Quang Ninh province, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, sent best wishes to all cadres, soldiers, officers and armed forces of Military Region 3 Command on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
The Provincial Party Secretary informed the leaders of the Military Region 3 Command about the outstanding results achieved by the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province in 2024. Despite many difficulties, especially the impact of storm No. 3, with the focused direction, tradition of solidarity, joint efforts and consensus of the Party Committee, government, armed forces, business community and people of all walks of life, Quang Ninh has overcome difficulties, achieved important and quite comprehensive achievements in all fields; basically completed the main goals set out in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress. Political security, social order and safety were maintained, and the material and spiritual life of the people was improved. To achieve these achievements, Quang Ninh has always received the attention, direction, coordination and timely and effective support of the Military Region 3 Command.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: In 2025, the province will continue to focus on directing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, local defense and military work. The most important task is to successfully organize party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress. He hopes that the Military Region 3 Command will continue to pay attention and accompany the province in carrying out political tasks; contribute to the Party Committee, army and people of Quang Ninh province in completing the assigned tasks; contribute to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, promoting local socio-economic development, and building a comprehensively strong local military force.
On behalf of the Military Region 3 Command, Major General Luong Van Kiem, Deputy Commander of Military Region 3, thanked the sentiments and attention of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh province; and congratulated the locality on achieving many comprehensive results in all fields. Highly appreciating the effective coordination, leadership and attention of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee for local defense and military tasks; contributing to building the all-people defense posture, associated with the people's security posture, building an increasingly solid provincial defense zone, the Commander of Military Region 3 hoped that in 2025, Quang Ninh province would continue to unite; focus on leading and directing the implementation of local defense and military tasks, becoming a bright spot in the country in terms of defense, security as well as socio-economic development. He affirmed that officers and soldiers of Military Region 3 will continue to stand side by side with the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh in all aspects of activities and work. Thereby, contributing to maintaining local stability, creating favorable conditions for the province to develop comprehensively.
On the same day, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province visited and presented flowers to congratulate the Navy Command on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. On behalf of the delegation, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, also informed about some outstanding results in performing tasks in socio-economic development and ensuring security and defense in the locality. He expressed his gratitude for the affection and close relationship between the Navy Command and the locality; especially the units stationed in the area have coordinated well with the armed forces units of the province to complete assigned tasks, firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands; and actively participate in local movements.
Expressing gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Navy, congratulated Quang Ninh province on its achievements in recent times. He highly appreciated the province's leadership and direction in closely coordinating and creating favorable conditions for units stationed in the province to successfully complete their tasks.
The Political Commissar of the Navy hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to receive the attention and support of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province for the Navy in general and the Navy units in the province in particular so that the Navy can successfully complete its assigned tasks.
