Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) opened a special exhibition room with the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese fruits" this morning (April 23), in Hanoi.

The event is a meaningful activity to honor the cultural, economic and ecological values associated with Vietnam's specialty fruits, contributing to promoting domestic consumption, developing the domestic market, as well as spreading pride in Vietnamese agricultural products.

Mr. Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, said that through the exhibition, the Department will support businesses in promoting products as well as orienting fruit tree planting in accordance with tastes and consumption channels.

In particular, through conferences on connecting supply and demand, authorities also promote support for finding outlets for agricultural products, along with information to help businesses be aware of farming and avoid using substances or pesticides that can affect the health of consumers.

“The ultimate goal is to support businesses in promoting and introducing the country's best qualities with fruit advantages, helping farmers consume agricultural products that are Vietnam's strengths,” said Mr. Tran Huu Linh.

The exhibition will introduce the rich characteristics, identity and development potential of Vietnamese fruits - one of the country's key agricultural product groups.

With the theme “Quintessence of Vietnamese fruits”, the display space is designed vividly and modernly, introducing dozens of typical specialty fruits from many regions across the country, in which, the most prominent are products from localities such as: Tien Giang, Long An, Binh Thuan , Son La…, with fruits favored by consumers such as mango, durian, red dragon fruit, plum…

A notable highlight of the event was the application of QR codes on each product on display. By scanning the code, visitors can easily access detailed information about the product such as: origin, growing area, production-preservation process, and genuine sales addresses. This is a practical solution to increase transparency in traceability, contributing to building trust with domestic consumers in high-quality Vietnamese products.

Not only a space to introduce and promote products, the Showroom is also a meeting place, connecting managers, businesses and consumers, discussing agricultural market development trends, especially solutions to increase value, promote domestic consumption and expand export markets.

Through the event, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to spreading love for Vietnamese agricultural products, raising public awareness of the value of domestic fruits, and at the same time arousing national pride on the country's important anniversary.

The gallery will be open to visitors from April 23 to April 27 at 62 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
