On December 26, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu signed an official dispatch to provincial and municipal labor federations, central and equivalent trade unions, and units under the General Confederation, requesting serious implementation of the Party's policies and resolutions on innovation and reorganization of the political system, aiming for streamlining, efficiency and sustainable development.
In the dispatch, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized the need to closely follow Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and Conclusion No. 106-KL/TW of the Politburo. Trade unions at all levels actively participate in the process of restructuring the organization, ensuring operational efficiency and ensuring the rights of union members and workers, especially in cases of early retirement, resignation, or job transfer.
In addition, the representative of the Trade Union organization suggested promoting propaganda work to create consensus among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Political and ideological education work is given top priority to raise awareness of the importance and urgency of streamlining the apparatus in the context of the country entering a new era of development.
In particular, the General Confederation emphasized the responsibility of trade union organizations in advising and arranging appropriate personnel after the streamlining process, to ensure the continuous and effective operation of the trade union system. Places affected by the merger, dissolution, or termination of operations are required to carefully prepare records, documents, as well as financial settlement to ensure a smooth handover.
This document demonstrates the commitment of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to accompany the Party and State in implementing the goal of renewing the political system, better serving the interests of workers and the sustainable development of the country.
