Final article: Cadres and party members must be exemplary for the common good
Streamlining the organization is a very difficult, sensitive, and complicated task that directly affects each individual in each organization. Therefore, it requires solidarity, high determination, courage, and even the sacrifice of personal interests for the common good.
The province uses criteria to evaluate cadres and civil servants after reorganization based on their capacity, qualifications, work attitude and spirit of performing tasks.
- Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Quyet:
Reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus of the political system is a central and urgent task. This is a correct, accurate, and major policy, of vital significance to the country's development in the new period and is being vigorously implemented from the central to local levels.
Up to now, the province has completed many important tasks of restructuring and streamlining the organizational apparatus in accordance with the Central Government's direction. We also need to determine that, although this affects many cadres, civil servants, public employees (CBCCVC), and workers (NLĐ), it is a task that must be done "without delay".
To carry out this “great revolution”, sacrificing small, personal interests is obvious and mandatory. Officials and party members must be exemplary and responsible for the common interests of the country and the people. We can only try to minimize the impact on those affected during the process of streamlining and streamlining the organizational apparatus.
We define this as a "revolution" that creates momentum to bring the country into a new era - the era of national growth .
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that in the process of evaluating civil servants when streamlining the apparatus and arranging people, it is necessary to be fair and objective, for the common good, for the development of the country.
Right now, everyone must do their best, must have a positive attitude in performing their work and tasks. This is also the criterion for the organization to evaluate, select, and arrange staff when implementing the organization's streamlining. "If the ideology is not clear, it is even heavier to carry a heavy load", we must resolutely remove from the organization those staff who lack a sense of responsibility and are negligent in their work at the current stage. Party committees at all levels, local leaders, agencies, and units must be resolute, work urgently, and most importantly, do a good job of ideological work, creating consensus in the process of streamlining the organization.
- Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - Hoang Dinh Can:
The reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus is an important and sensitive issue. Information related to this issue is always of interest to a large number of civil servants and people, so it is easy for bad elements and hostile forces to take advantage of it and spread fake news and false information to disrupt society and sabotage the Party and the State. Therefore, in addition to propagating and thoroughly implementing the policy on reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system; the Central Committee considers ensuring regimes and policies for civil servants who are not reorganized or streamlined, as well as implementing well the support policy for redundant civil servants, helping them stabilize their lives and have a suitable direction.
- Former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Women Intellectuals Club - Tran Thi Nhanh:
This “revolution” to streamline the apparatus is truly a very big reform, in a short time with the desire to create a breakthrough to change what has existed in the apparatus in the past because there is still too much cumbersome, affecting the interests of the people. I see the positive side as very good, however, there are also many opposing opinions, many concerns.
Which provinces will Long An merge with? When will the district level be officially abolished? How will the commune-level administrative units in the province be arranged? These are issues that many people are currently particularly interested in, discussing and talking about. This is completely natural and normal. Because most people want their lives, jobs, incomes, positions, etc. to be stable and better. When implementing the above policies, it will create big changes for each person, especially civil servants, public employees and employees in state agencies.
I realize that this policy brings greater and higher benefits to the country and to our people, it is the right policy so it needs to be seriously implemented. There will certainly be concerns among civil servants and public employees, but I know that the people are very sympathetic and supportive. I think that, at first, life may be a bit disrupted, but most civil servants and public employees think positively. They are happy to retire from the policy. I myself also encourage not only the members of the Awakened Women Intellectuals Club but also those who have relationships to comply with the policy and orientation to find a new direction in their lives. Moreover, the Party and the State will have policies and regimes for civil servants and public employees who retire. Therefore, I think there is nothing deadlocked in this life, the important thing is to think positively, optimistically and strive to do well in the work you are doing./.
