TPO - Son La Provincial Youth Union together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development visited and presented hundreds of meaningful gifts to children and national defense forces in the border district of Yen Chau.
On March 30, Son La Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to organize the activities "Volunteer for community life", "March Border Month 2024" and the program "Lighting up dreams". |
The program was held at two kindergartens in Ban Ai and Pao Cua, Phieng Khoai commune, Yen Chau district, Son La. This is a locality in a border commune, bordering the Lao PDR. |
Attending the program were Mr. Ta Hong Son - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Ms. Cam Thi Huyen Trang - Secretary of the Son La Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Pham Duc Long - District Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of Yen Chau District People's Committee, along with teachers and 104 preschool students of 2 schools. |

and 104 gifts including: backpacks, school bags, candy, and necessities for students. |

Also within the framework of the event, the organizers visited officers and soldiers of Chieng On Border Post (Yen Chau district) and presented some supplies, medicine, and necessities to the unit. |
The program has practical significance, promoting the spirit of volunteerism of union members and young people in volunteering for community life, ensuring social security, national defense and security, contributing to the development of the homeland and the country.
