Provincial Youth Union trains skills for grassroots-level Vietnam Youth Union officials

After a week of exciting study, the grassroots Union cadres were trained and practiced many Union work skills such as: collective living skills, methods of organizing games; instructing some youth movement games, team building, organizing campfires; outdoor skills such as setting up tents quickly, tying knots, semaphore, morse, secret letters, road signs, determining directions; social skills such as foreign reception work, youth entrepreneurship, communication skills - public speaking; skills of using social networks safely...

After the course, the grassroots Union officials were updated with knowledge, reviewed and equipped with additional skills and knowledge about the work of the Vietnam Youth Union, especially the new Union officials who took up their duties after the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels for the 2024-2029 term.

Mr. Ngo Tran Ngoc Phuc - Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province awarded certificates of completion of the training course to the trainees.

With the spirit of emulation, the grassroots Union officials competed together at the 2025 Provincial Competition for Excellent Union Officials of the Vietnam Youth Union. This is also a playground for Union officials to review the knowledge they have learned after the training course, and demonstrate their talent, ingenuity, and agility through the competitions.

The organizers scored the wound bandaging skills of the contestants.

As a result, the first prize of the contest went to contestant Dao Thanh Nam – Vice Chairman of the Phuoc Ninh Commune Association Committee, Duong Minh Chau District. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 encouragement prizes to encourage the students.

Ms. Doan Thi Hong - Vice President of the Provincial Youth Union of Vietnam awarded the First Prize of the 2025 Provincial Competition for Excellent Youth Union Officials to Dao Thanh Nam.

On this occasion, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union awarded certificates to 65 students who completed the training course.

The training course and competition are an opportunity for the Association's staff to self-evaluate, practice and improve their professional skills; it is an environment for connecting and spreading the spirit of initiative and creativity of young people in the new era.

With the spirit and results achieved from the program, the Association's officials will continue to promote their roles and responsibilities, contributing to the comprehensive development of the Association's work and the province's youth movement, meeting the requirements of the new period.
