Overview of the Meeting

The meeting reviewed the draft Decision on adjusting the number of employees of public service units in 2025.

Accordingly, when transferring the Drug Addiction Treatment Center to the management of the Provincial Police, some officials continued to sign working contracts at the Drug Addiction Treatment Center under the management of the Provincial Police, some officials did not meet the conditions and standards of the Provincial Police and wanted to continue working at public service units with suitable job positions.

Delegates discuss at the meeting

The Department of Home Affairs said that it will adjust and supplement the number of employees at some public service units under the Department of Health and the Department of Home Affairs, the number of staff increased from the reserve staff source. Specifically, the Center for Social Protection and Work will increase 12 staff, from 46 to 58. The Center for Employment Services will increase 1 staff, from 61 to 62. The Management Board of the Martyrs' Cemetery will increase 2 staff, from 4 to 6.

In addition, the Center for Trade Promotion, Tourism and Industrial Development under the Department of Industry and Trade was established on the basis of merging the Center for Tourism Promotion under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Center for Trade Promotion and Industrial Development under the Department of Industry and Trade. Therefore, the Department of Home Affairs proposed to assign 43 positions to the Center for Trade Promotion, Tourism and Industrial Development, including 40 positions receiving salaries from the State budget and 03 positions receiving salaries from career revenue.

The meeting also considered and commented on the contents of the draft Resolution submitted to the Provincial People's Council Session on: Adjusting Resolution No. 43/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council on the State budget revenue estimate in the area, revenue, expenditure and allocation of local budget in 2025; adjusting a number of contents of Resolution No. 19/NQ-HDND dated February 26, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council on the 2025 Public Investment Plan using State budget capital (2nd time); abolishing Resolution No. 11/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 26, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council regulating the content of expenditure, expenditure levels for selecting textbooks in generaleducation institutions in the province; naming a number of roads in Ben Cat City...

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh basically agreed with the contents presented. He requested the drafting agencies and relevant units to take note of the opinions and contributions of delegates at the meeting to supplement and complete the content to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council meeting for consideration and approval.
