Event News - Binh Duong: Establishment of Young Engineers Association

Overview of the meeting

Reporting at the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said that the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee is coordinating with the Department of Home Affairs and the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Binh Duong Province Young Engineers Association to continue completing the procedures for official recognition of the Association according to the Government's Decree.

Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union reported on the Plan to launch the Young Engineers Association and launch the Science and Technology Innovation Initiative Competition.

The Young Engineers Association is expected to have 52 members, who are outstanding individuals, fully meeting the criteria of professional capacity, sense of responsibility, and desire to contribute, making an important contribution to the future development of the Association.

The 2025 Binh Duong Science and Technology Innovation Contest has the theme "Smart City - Sustainable Development" BD-Inno Tech (Binh Duong Innovation & Technology Contest). The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union has drafted a Plan to organize the Contest and submitted it to the Provincial People's Committee and organized to collect comments. Up to now, the draft Plan and rules of the Contest have been completed after receiving comments from members of the Young Engineers Club and departments and branches.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Loc Ha basically agreed with the contents. Regarding the 2025 Binh Duong Province Science and Technology Innovation Competition, he proposed adding a Special Prize to attract a large number of individuals and groups to participate with many quality competition topics, worthy of the province's development goals in the coming time.

In the process of organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the agencies and units assigned to preside over the event need to closely follow the direction, select important events and contents to implement, be proactive in time and progress, and ensure that the celebration activities take place practically, have high propaganda and educational value in terms of political ideology, and spread throughout society.
