How to keep coffee prices
From December 2 to 4, the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong province implemented a program to meet voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, term 2021 - 2026.
At the meetings, voters from Dak Nong province expressed their excitement and confidence in the results of the meeting, and made many recommendations and proposals on the fields of agriculture, education, and issues arising related to land and planning.
Voters in Quang Tan Commune (Tuy Duc District) expressed their opinions that the increase and stability of coffee prices at a high level is a good sign for the agricultural sector as well as farmers. However, voters are concerned that with the regulation from 2025, the European market will have stricter requirements, especially the regulation prohibiting the import of agricultural and forestry products produced on land originating from deforestation and forest degradation after December 31, 2020.
Voters hope that the relevant agencies will provide support to avoid losses for farmers. At the same time, they will promote the issuance of coffee traceability codes to some districts, cooperatives, and cooperative groups so that coffee farmers have more opportunities to participate and increase the value of products and profits from the coffee industry.
