Dividends rain after the holiday, some businesses spend a huge amount of 250%

News in the new week after the September 2 holiday, there are about 20 businesses that have set the ex-right trading date to receive cash dividends.

Another company that also announced its dividend payment date this week is Ben Thanh Trading and Service Joint Stock Company (BTT). Accordingly, BTT shareholders will receive cash dividends at a rate of 33.5% of par value.

The last registration date to enjoy the rights is 5-9, which means the ex-rights trading date is 4-9.

BTT said it will pay in two installments. The first installment will take place on September 17 with a payout ratio of 20% (ie 1 share will receive 2,000 VND). The second installment will take place on November 6 with a payout ratio of 13.5% (ie each share will receive 1,350 VND)...

Cinema chain owner reports huge losses

In a report sent to HNX, Galaxy Entertainment and Education Joint Stock Company - owner of the Galaxy Cinema cinema chain - continued to lose more than 16 billion VND in the first 6 months of this year, compared to a loss of more than 288 billion VND in the same period last year.

With prolonged losses, Galaxy's equity decreased from nearly VND46 billion in the same period last year to more than VND1.8 billion at the end of June this year.

The sharp decline above has caused the debt-to-equity ratio and outstanding bonds-to-equity ratio to increase to 759 times and 110 times, respectively.

In absolute value, this enterprise has a debt of more than 1,360 billion VND, of which bond debt is nearly 200 billion VND.

The daughter of the chairman of Phat Dat real estate wants to sell millions of shares.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thu, daughter of Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (PDR), has just registered to sell nearly 1.1 million PDR shares.

According to the report, Ms. Thu is holding more than 7 million shares at Phat Dat. If the transaction is successful, the ownership volume will decrease to nearly 6 million - equivalent to 0.68% of the company's capital.

Ms. Thu said that the sale of her father's company shares is to solve personal financial needs. The transaction is expected to take place from September 6 to October 4. If the price of VND21,550 per share is followed by the closing price at the end of August 2024, Ms. Thu will earn about VND23 billion.

Currently, Mr. Nguyen Van Dat is holding more than 334 million shares, equivalent to 38.34% of Phat Dat's charter capital.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Tan Danh, vice chairman of the PDR board of directors, also registered to sell 617,754 shares. Accordingly, Mr. Danh's share ownership will decrease from 4 million to more than 3.39 million.

After falling sharply to over 17,000 VND in early August, PDR's market price has now recovered to over 21,000 VND, up nearly 20% after 1 month, but still down more than 17% after 1 quarter.

Latest pension payment schedule in Hanoi

News from Hanoi Social Insurance said that this agency has sent a document requesting Hanoi Post Office about the schedule for paying pensions and social insurance benefits for the payment period of September 2024.

Accordingly, the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts will take place from September 5.

The cash payment will be made in two installments. The first installment will be from September 6 and the second installment will be from September 9.

Hanoi Social Insurance requests Hanoi Post Office to coordinate with central post offices to implement the above payment schedule.

During the implementation process, if there are any problems, they should be promptly reported to the social insurance agency for resolution.

Previously, in the payment period of August 2024, Hanoi Social Security made payments via ATM accounts to over 577,000 people with an amount of about 3,900 billion VND.

The number of people receiving cash is more than 16,000, equivalent to about 121 billion VND.
