Today, the National Assembly considers and decides on personnel work.

According to today's program (October 25), the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly continues to work.

In the morning, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh presented a report explaining, accepting and revising the draft Law on Urban and Rural Planning.

After that, the National Assembly will discuss in the hall some contents of this draft law that have different opinions. At the end of the session, the submitting agency and the agency in charge of the review will coordinate to explain and clarify some issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

From 11:15 a.m. the same day, the National Assembly will meet separately to consider and decide on personnel matters. The National Assembly will continue to discuss personnel matters in the afternoon of the same day.

After that, Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee Hoang Thanh Tung will present a report explaining, accepting and revising the draft Law on Notarization (amended). After this content, the National Assembly will continue to meet separately on personnel work.

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents with different opinions of the draft Law on Notarization (amended).

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh chaired the meeting on the afternoon of October 23.

Exchange rate continues to "heat up"

On October 24, the State Bank announced the central exchange rate at 24,260 VND, continuing to increase by 10 VND compared to the previous session.

The spot buying rate remained unchanged at VND23,400/USD; while the spot selling rate was listed at VND25,450.

For example, at Vietcombank, this bank listed the buying and selling rates at 25,203 VND - 25,473 VND, an increase of 11 VND compared to the previous session.

In the same trend, the USD exchange rate in the free market also increased sharply in both buying and selling directions. The common price at foreign exchange points is 25,700 VND (buy) - 25,800 VND (sell), an increase of 240 VND compared to the previous session.

In the international market, the US Dollar Index (DXY) measuring the greenback's fluctuations against six major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF) was at 104.2 points, up sharply from the bottom of 100 points at the end of September.
