News, forecast of coffee prices tomorrow, April 16, 2025, continuing a new increase

Coffee prices are forecast to increase slightly on April 16, 2025 due to limited supply and a positive market. If you are wondering what coffee prices will be tomorrow and are not familiar with economics, think of it simply like this: Coffee prices on April 16, 2025 may increase slightly, about 200 to 500 VND per kg in major growing regions such as Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Gia Lai.

It’s like when you go to the market and see the price of vegetables has increased slightly because there are fewer vegetables, and people want to buy more. Currently, coffee is more expensive in the world, especially on the London market, so the domestic price is also pushed up. In addition, farmers do not have much coffee to sell, and companies are trying to buy to send abroad, so the price is likely to increase. In addition, coffee growers are quite happy because the price was better in early April, so they are not in a hurry to sell, pushing the price up even more.

However, prices will not increase too much because major coffee buyers such as Europe and Asia are still considering and have not yet bought massively. Another reason for the increase in coffee prices is that in Brazil - the world's largest coffee grower - the weather is hot and dry, which can cause coffee trees to produce less fruit, making coffee even more scarce. At the same time, Vietnam and Brazil both sold less coffee abroad than last year, specifically Brazil decreased by 26% and Vietnam decreased by 15.6% in the first quarter of 2025. The US dollar is also cheaper, making major traders in the world want to buy more coffee, pushing up prices. In general, coffee prices on April 16, 2025 are forecast to continue to increase slightly, bringing hope to domestic coffee growers.
