According to the Organizing Committee, the event is an opportunity to honor outstanding payment intermediary units that have made important contributions to the national digital transformation . The award system is built and evaluated based on many criteria such as: growth, dynamism in deploying services as well as close cooperation activities with NAPAS. In 2023, Zalopay is one of the pioneers cooperating with NAPAS to launch the breakthrough product Zalopay QR Multi-function (based on VietQR standard), accepting payments from all banking applications and e-wallets. After only 6 months of launch, by December 2023, Zalopay QR Multi-function has covered more than 12,000 store chains and services nationwide. 
In July 2024, Zalopay officially announced its new brand identity and introduced the latest application version with outstanding features such as: Payment for all services from a variety of money sources (bank transfer, international card, Apple Pay, etc.); Zalopay Priority - a priority privilege program for members; A set of 6 diverse financial products to help users flexibly use small amounts of money. With the spirit of expanding all limits, Zalopay aims to become a multi-functional payment platform. This application also affirms its orientation of "accompanying banks" on the journey to change the cash usage habits of Vietnamese users. In 2024, Zalopay was honored as "Outstanding Fintech Company 2024" at the "Outstanding Vietnamese Bank Awards" announcement ceremony. Zalopay QR Multi-Function payment solution has also continuously received many titles and awards such as: "Digital transformation products and solutions for the community" at the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award (VDA) 2024, "Product of the year - Top 100 innovative products and services of 2024" announced by Dau Tu Newspaper in collaboration with Viet Research; was honored as "Top 10 good Vietnamese products, for the benefit of consumers" (Good Vietnamese products - Perfect service). Zalopay is currently serving more than 14 million users with a product portfolio of more than 100 convenient services, continuously on the list of favorite payment platforms in the country. In 2023, Zalopay is the only Vietnamese representative in the Top 200 global financial technology (fintech) companies ranking announced by American television channel CNBC. According to statistics from the State Bank of Vietnam, in the first 6 months of 2024, non-cash payment transactions increased by 60% in number and 35% in value compared to the same period last year. Online payments also grew strongly with 52% in number of transactions and 20% in transaction value compared to 2023.
