Zalopay Multi-Function QR Code honored as Digital Transformation Solution for the community

With 12,000 partner chains using it nationwide, Zalopay's Multi-Function QR code solution has successfully surpassed nearly 350 applications to win the title of " Digital transformation product and solution for the community" at the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award - Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2024 taking place on October 5, 2024.

According to the Organizing Committee, the category “Digital transformation products and solutions for the community” aims to honor groups and individuals who possess highly practical digital technology solutions that make positive contributions to the community and society. This award is reviewed based on a survey of both users and businesses.

Zalopay is one of the pioneers cooperating with Napas to launch the breakthrough product Zalopay Multi-function QR based on VietQR standard. This solution was officially launched in July 2023, accepting payments from all banking applications and e-wallets to scan and pay for orders. The entire process takes place on the same platform, providing a smooth and seamless experience for customers, both helping to minimize errors and shorten transaction time; at the same time, overcoming the difficulties of stores when having to operate many separate management systems corresponding to different QR codes. By 2024, Zalopay will continue to develop this multi-function payment solution by integrating it into the Zalopay application in two forms: multi-function QR money receiving for individual users and opening a new payment method via "Bank transfer". Zalopay has become the first intermediary payment platform in the Vietnamese market that allows users to use the "Bank transfer" service without having to link to a bank. Currently, Zalopay Multi-Functional QR Code is available at more than 12,000 chain stores nationwide. In addition to partners in the service, food, retail, e-commerce industries, etc., Zalopay Multi-Functional QR has also become a payment method for COD orders on the Ahamove and BEST Express applications. Deploying multi-functional payment codes to partners in the transportation - logistics sector is Zalopay's way of contributing to strengthening the cashless delivery ecosystem and improving the experience for both driver partners and recipients. Also this year, the Zalopay Multi-Functional QR solution has continuously received many titles and awards such as: "Product of the year - Top 100 innovative products and services of 2024" announced by Dau Tu Newspaper in collaboration with Viet Research; “Top 10 Good Vietnamese Products - For Consumer Rights in 2024” is organized by the Institute of Economic and Cultural Human Resources Development Science in collaboration with the Vietnam Consumer Protection Center. Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) is an annual activity since 2018, organized by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications. Over the past 6 years, the VDA Awards have attracted the participation of more than 16,000 organizations from 63 provinces and cities nationwide, honoring nearly 400 outstanding units. This year, VDA returns with 5 nomination categories, including: 1. Outstanding digital technology products, services and solutions; 2.
