Considered as an "extended arm" of social security policy, the People's Credit Fund of Cam Le district has constantly made efforts to invest capital to help improve the quality of life of local people. From small loans for production development to large loans to help build houses, policy credit programs have helped many families escape poverty and stabilize their lives.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Suong, Director of the Cam Le District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, as of December 31, 2024, the total policy credit capital of the Cam Le District Social Policy Bank reached 650.9 billion VND, a remarkable growth compared to 2023. One of the credit programs that has shown positive results is the job support loan program that has helped poor workers with a lack of capital to start their own businesses, reaching a loan balance of VND 482.4 billion, accounting for 74.1% of the total outstanding loan balance. These figures reflect the efforts in implementing and managing the credit program, and are a testament to the love and responsibility of the entire political system in supporting the people.

At the conference to summarize policy credit activities in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025 organized by the People's Credit Fund of Cam Le district on the morning of January 8, 2025, the People's Committee of Cam Le district commended many collectives, individuals and units that have excellently completed the emulation targets from the beginning of 2024. These awards are not only recognition but also inspiration to continue promoting the effectiveness of policy credit in the new year 2025.

Speaking at the conference to review policy credit activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025 organized by the People's Credit Fund of Cam Le District on the morning of January 8, 2025, Mr. Doan Ngoc Chung, Director of the People's Credit Fund of Da Nang City Branch, praised the achievements of the People's Credit Fund of Cam Le District. At the same time, Mr. Chung said that socio-political organizations have contributed greatly to improving the effectiveness of credit programs. "The harmonious coordination between the People's Credit Fund and socio-political organizations is an important factor helping us achieve impressive results in implementing credit policies," said Mr. Chung.

From the Women's Union, the Farmers' Association, to the Veterans' Association and the Youth Union, each organization has its own way of supporting people, but they all share the same goal: helping people rise up, escape poverty and build a more prosperous life. The impressive figures achieved by these organizations in the past year have proven the effectiveness of the social credit policy.

In the overall picture of policy credit in Cam Le district, the Savings and Credit Groups are the diligent workers, meticulously taking care of each credit "seed" so that the capital can grow, blossom and bear sweet fruit. Dedicated group leaders such as Ms. Tran Thu Hang, Head of the Savings and Credit Group of Hoa Tho Tay ward, have not been afraid of difficulties, always ready to help group members fulfill their financial obligations and use the loan for the right purpose. Each dong of capital is a continuous effort of the whole community, a testament to the joint efforts of the whole society in poverty reduction.

Ms. Hang shared that with the help of the Ward Veterans Association, the dedicated guidance of the District Social Policy Bank credit officers, and the efforts of the Savings and Credit Group Management Board, all activities of the group have gradually become more organized. After many years of operation, the Savings and Credit Group currently has 47 members with a debt balance of more than 3 billion VND. Including many lending programs such as: Poor households, near-poor households, students in difficult circumstances, social housing loans, and loans for job creation. In particular, the loan program to support employment, maintain and expand employment with an amount of over 2.3 billion VND, accounting for over 75% of the total outstanding debt.

"To ensure timely debt repayment and to prevent risks during the borrowing and using preferential capital, the Group Management Board has increased the mobilization of group members to participate in saving money to form the habit of accumulating for debt repayment periods and at the same time creating a source of mobilized capital for more borrowers to access early. Up to now, 100% of group members have participated in saving money with a balance of over 186 million VND. Therefore, the group has no overdue debt." - Ms. Hang said.

With the results achieved in 2024, the People's Credit Fund of Cam Le district will continue to strive to bring policy credit programs further, to more disadvantaged subjects. Loan programs to support employment, social housing loans, vocational training... will continue to be expanded, helping the poor and policy subjects overcome challenges and build a new life.

The job support loan program has helped workers who lack capital to do business to gain wings and escape poverty sustainably.

The District Social Policy Bank Representative Board will continue to be the "guide", organizing meetings to evaluate the effectiveness of credit program implementation. Socio-political organizations will constantly innovate their methods of operation, from monitoring and supporting people to promoting propaganda and mobilization work.

It can be said that the social policy credit programs implemented in Cam Le district are warm "fires" that light the way for the poor, helping them rise up to build a brighter future. 2025 will continue to be a promising journey, when all resources will be maximized, bringing practical values ​​to the community, contributing to the overall development of Da Nang City.
