According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, widespread thunderstorms and localized heavy rain in the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions are likely to continue for many more days.
Specifically, the weather in these areas on the night of May 28 and 29 will be moderate rain, heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 30-60mm, some places will have over 80mm; from the night of June 29 to June 7, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain.
Thunderstorms may contain tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.

According to the meteorological agency, the eastern sea of the North East Sea is forecast to have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8 on the night of May 28, and level 6 winds, gusting to level 8, and rough seas on May 29.
The sea area from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau and the South East Sea area (including the Truong Sa archipelago) on the night of May 28 and day of May 29 will have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8.
In addition, on the night of May 28 and 29, the area from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau , Ca Mau to Kien Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the central and southern East Sea (including the waters of Truong Sa archipelago) will have heavy rain and thunderstorms.
During thunderstorms, tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 7-8 may occur.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that on the night of May 29 and 30, the eastern sea area of the North and Central East Sea will have strong winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, wave height of 2-4 m, and rough seas.
All vessels and other activities in the above sea areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
