News of the victory in the South on April 24, 1975 through the news of Vietnam News Agency

The news bulletin of Vietnam News Agency (now Vietnam News Agency) released on April 24, 1975, provided important information about the struggle for unification. Notable news included:

- Captured two commanding generals and many puppet air force officers in the attack to completely liberate Ninh Thuan province and Phan Rang town.

- Thua Thien- Hue held a rally to celebrate the victory and welcomed the delegation of the Central Committee of the Liberation Front and the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam to visit Hue city.

- On April 24, 1975, Can Tho army and people destroyed 850 enemies, liberated many communes and hamlets;

- Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Rach Gia attacked 15 forts and posts, destroying many enemies;

- Hundreds of puppet soldiers in the Mekong Delta provinces protested the war and deserted to join the people.
