During the series of activities, the Party Committee and unit commanders organized many propaganda sessions about the position, meaning and role of books in social life, and at the same time introduced President Ho Chi Minh's method of studying and reading books.

In particular, the Battalion organized a book exhibition with hundreds of valuable books about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and generals in the Vietnam People's Army, attracting a large number of soldiers to visit and read books.

In addition, many exciting competitions were held such as: Storytelling contest based on books, artistic book arrangement contest, book appreciation presentation contest with the theme "Entering the era of national growth with books".

The companies in the Battalion also organized collective activities, exchanging and sharing about good books and works recording the nation's resilient struggle during the resistance war against America.

Companies in the Battalion also launched the "One page a day" movement and organized book donations to enrich the unit's bookcases.

Activities to celebrate Book Day and reading culture at the New Soldier Training Battalion not only encourage reading habits, cultivate the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and excellent Air Defense - Air Force soldiers, but also contribute to building a healthy cultural environment in the unit.
