Continue to organize the Cultural Festival of Ethnic Minorities in Krong Pa District

The Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival of Krong Pa district is expected to take place from April 22 to 24, including traditional cultural and sports activities. Cultural activities include 5 contents: recreating the communal living space of ethnic minorities; performing ethnic minority costumes; pounding rice with a double pestle; street gongs; displaying and introducing local specialties and cuisine. Sports competitions include: crossbow shooting, stick pushing, stilt running, tug of war.

The Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival of Krong Pa district has the participation of artisan groups from 14 communes and towns in the district (minimum 30 people/group). The organizing committee encourages artisan groups with many ethnic groups living in the area, artisans who have not participated in the festival in previous years.

At the same time, cultural and sports activities must be imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic minorities; agricultural products introduced and displayed must be assessed as clean and safe agricultural products to create connections, promote trade and develop tourism in the district.

The Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival of Krong Pa District aims to introduce and promote the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in the district and orient the development of local tourism. This is an opportunity for ethnic minorities in the district to meet, exchange experiences in preserving and promoting heritage, and at the same time strengthen the spirit of solidarity.
