In the first quarter of 2024, the provincial Propaganda Department closely followed the directives of the Central Propaganda Department and the work program of the provincial Party Committee, proactively, creatively, flexibly, and innovatively implementing its tasks. The Propaganda Departments of the district and city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, advised the Party Committees on effectively carrying out tasks in the field of propaganda in their respective localities and units. Throughout the province, 10,150 oral propaganda sessions were conducted with over 800,000 cadres and Party members in attendance; and 4,000 propaganda sessions were held in villages, hamlets, and residential areas with over 400,000 representatives from households participating.

Press agencies, magazines, and information websites continue to promote the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations; continue to pay attention to informing and updating news, events, and current affairs, political issues, economic development, and socio-cultural issues of the province and the country... and informing about the situation and results of activities of sectors, agencies, and units. At the same time, they proactively launch a political commentary contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, advise on reforming the activities of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, and publicize the province's policy on land clearance for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project…
During the conference, delegates also clarified several issues regarding information censorship, existing limitations and innovations in the editing of propaganda information; and the advantages and obstacles in the process of training and developing political skills and improving the quality of professional work.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, acknowledged that in the first quarter of 2024, the provincial Propaganda Department had demonstrated a sense of responsibility, effort, and proactiveness in implementing its tasks. However, some limitations still need to be addressed, such as the low interaction rate on the information pages of the District-level Steering Committee 35; slow updating of information on some information pages; and a lack of proactive and timely coordination in the implementation of tasks by some units.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department suggested that in the second quarter of 2024, the Propaganda sector should focus on implementing key tasks such as: continuing to advise the Party Committee on directing and guiding the dissemination of information on the results of implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, the regulations and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat; seriously, promptly, and effectively disseminating and thoroughly understanding the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on preventing and combating corruption and negative phenomena; advising on the implementation of the political campaign "Building and developing a comprehensive and modern Vietnamese foreign policy and diplomacy with the distinctive characteristics of Vietnamese bamboo" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and "Promoting the tradition of national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous, civilized, and happy"; advising on the organization of the seminar "The stature and value of the Tan Trao National Congress in the process of Vietnam's national liberation", the Provincial Cultural Conference, and the summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW; Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the research, study, and implementation of Conclusion No. 01-CT/TW on continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW; focus on publicizing the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory…

At the same time, proactively advise the Party Committee on solutions to promote the cultural values and revolutionary traditions of the province.
