Continue to review the organization of activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the province's founding.

On the morning of November 8, the Organizing Committee for the 120th Anniversary of Dak Lak Province held a meeting to review the contents related to the organization of the anniversary activities. Comrade Nguyen Tuan Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee for the 120th Anniversary of Dak Lak Province chaired the meeting.

Up to now, the activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the province's founding (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024) have been implemented by units to ensure the set schedule. Of which, many activities have been completed and achieved positive results. The online contest to learn about "History of formation and development of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024)" was successfully organized. The total number of contestants in 6 weeks was 860,768, an average of 143,461 contestants/week; of which 89,078 contestants from outside the province participated (accounting for 10.3%) and 771,690 contestants from within the province participated (accounting for 89.7%). The contest has received a great response and participation from all walks of life inside and outside the province, creating a spread, becoming a widespread political activity, raising awareness, arousing pride, belief and consciousness, and responsibility of each Dak Lak citizen in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The movement to build gratitude houses and Great Unity houses, mobilized by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, has built 352 Great Unity houses from the mobilized fund "For the Poor" in the province with a total value of more than 23 billion VND, reaching 117% (352/300), exceeding 17.3% of the registered number.

The Artistic Photography Contest “Dak Lak – Convergence and Identity” was successfully held with 877 works by 117 authors from 30 provinces and cities participating. The entries were assessed to have high artistic quality, fully reflecting all aspects of the province’s socio-economic situation and leaving a deep impression on the public.

The meeting focused on reviewing preparations for activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Dak Lak province's founding and giving comments on the documentary film about the 120-year history of formation and development of Dak Lak province.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee for the 120th Anniversary of Dak Lak Province's Establishment, requested units to focus on reviewing and ensuring the progress of assigned tasks according to plan. In particular, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications continue to coordinate with press and media agencies to strengthen high-level propaganda activities before, during and after the program to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the province's establishment; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with localities to proactively carry out urban embellishment and visual propaganda; the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command coordinate to ensure security, order and safety for the event; proactively develop plans for art programs to celebrate in different weather conditions...
