Continue to research solutions for developing Ha Tinh literature and arts

On the afternoon of April 23, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association in coordination with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the scientific conference "Ha Tinh Literature and Arts 50 years after the country's reunification (1975-2025).

Attending the workshop were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and agencies.

50 years (1975-2025) since the country's reunification, promoting the tradition of revolutionary literature and art, Vietnamese artists have constantly created and strived to meet new requirements. In that context, Ha Tinh literature and art have also constantly changed, keeping up with the breath of the times and affirming strong marks in the flow of literature and art of the country.

Over the past 50 years, Ha Tinh literature and art have developed rapidly in both quantity and quality; the number of members has increased; literary works have been increasingly interested, loved and welcomed by the public.

Mr. Tran Xuan Luong - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism gave a speech at the workshop.

In particular, with the province's attention and creation of all conditions for literature and art, it has helped the creative force promptly approach, grasp, and reflect the people's lives and the development stages in all aspects of the homeland. There have been many creative camps, specialized training courses, and field trips inside and outside the province organized; many forms of encouragement and encouragement for artists in striving to create, innovate topics, content, and creative methods... Thereby, helping Ha Tinh literature and art have the conditions to constantly grow, accompanying the development of the homeland. Creative specialties such as: Prose, poetry, photography, music , critical theory... have achieved many successes, with many authors winning many awards in literature and art at all levels...

The Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Workshop 50 years after the country's reunification (1975 - 2025) aims to implement Plan No. 390-KH/BTGTW dated November 15, 2023 of the Central Propaganda Department on organizing activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); Plan 237-KH/TU, dated February 6, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on organizing activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification.

Literary critic Ha Quang presented a paper on the innovative development of Ha Tinh local literature after the country's reunification (1975-2025).

The conference received 20 papers expressing many concerns and enthusiasm of authors and researchers for Ha Tinh literature and art after 50 years of national reunification.

The 6 presentations at the conference focused on clarifying 2 contents: Evaluating the outstanding achievements, contributions, and trends of Ha Tinh literature and art in 50 years (1975 - 2025) in the general picture of Vietnamese literature and art since 1975; the challenges of Ha Tinh literature and art in the new context and solutions to continue to develop and achieve many results to serve the development of the homeland and country...

Researcher Le Thanh Nghi presented the paper Romantic lyricism - The flow in poetry of a land.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Bui Nhan Sam acknowledged and praised the achievements of Ha Tinh's literature and arts over the past 50 years. Over more than half a century, generations of Ha Tinh artists have promoted tradition, accompanied the Party Committee, government and people in the cause of building and developing the homeland. The team of artists has increasingly matured, made many contributions to the creation of literature and arts, and constantly spread the image of Ha Tinh people and culture to domestic and international friends. Many people have been awarded State Prizes, titles of Meritorious Artists, People's Artists, etc.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department hopes that the workshop will fully evaluate the great contributions of Ha Tinh literature and art over the past 50 years, point out the advantages and limitations, draw lessons from experience... From there, find and propose solutions and directions for Ha Tinh literature and art to develop in the new period. In particular, it is necessary to pay special attention to removing difficulties in mechanisms and policies; improving the effectiveness of discovering, training and nurturing talents - especially young talents; overcoming the shortage of successors and the gap between generations; creating conditions for the formation of works of ideological and artistic value, reflecting the transformation of the province... Thereby, contributing to building a theoretical and practical basis for the development of Ha Tinh literature and art, effectively implementing the major policies of the Central and the province on culture and people in the new period.

Summing up the workshop, Mr. Tran Nam Phong - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association thanked the delegates, researchers, and authors for their dedication in sending their papers to the Organizing Committee as well as directly attending and presenting their papers at the workshop. Taking place in 1 session, the scientific workshop was a great success, fulfilling the set objectives. The results of the workshop are the basis for the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association to continue researching and finding better solutions to further develop and flourish the province's literature and arts in the coming time.
