Taking advantage of the new historical context and the current Fourth Industrial Revolution, hostile and reactionary forces are striving to distort Marxism-Leninism, claiming that it is "outdated" and "no longer relevant." However, theory and practice have proven that the scientific and revolutionary nature of Marxism-Leninism is an objective fact and still retains its value for the world revolutionary movement.
Throughout human history, Marxism-Leninism has been the most influential doctrine, possessing enduring and undeniable values. These values are determined by the immense contributions of Marxism-Leninism.
Firstly, the materialist conception of history: Karl Marx was the first to discover the laws governing the development of human society, namely that human social history operates on the basis of material motives, especially economic interests – something that Lenin later remarked was "the greatest achievement of scientific thought." The materialist conception of history examines society comprehensively and holistically, based on the emergence, development, and decline of socio-economic formations. Although humans cannot arbitrarily change or abolish the laws of society, through their practical activities, they can influence these laws to accelerate or slow down their development. In general, the materialist conception of history is the methodological basis that helps people understand society and practice correctly, and it remains relevant and timeless, even in the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Secondly, the theory of socio-economic formations. From a scientific perspective, socio-economic formations clarify the laws of development of human society. Marxism-Leninism points out that the laws of development of human society are not something difficult or complex to understand; they are simply the replacement of socio-economic formations by social revolutions. Each socio-economic formation is a complete social structure, a harmonious relationship between productive forces and production relations, between the infrastructure and the superstructure. The history of human society shows that this harmony between productive forces and production relations, between the infrastructure and the superstructure, will exist for a certain period of time, until the relationship between productive forces and production relations is no longer harmonious. This is because the productive forces are constantly developing, while the relations of production are developing more slowly, so they are increasingly incompatible with the productive forces. At that time, society demands a new relations of production that are compatible with the productive forces, and to meet this compatibility, social revolutions are often necessary. This is the basis for Marxism-Leninism to point out the inherent contradictions and defects of capitalism, and at the same time provide a valid theoretical basis to affirm: "The collapse of the bourgeoisie and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable" (1).

Thirdly, the theory of surplus value: Through in-depth analysis of the capitalist mode of production, Karl Marx unveiled the "secret veil" of the capitalist mode of production, the causes and mechanisms of exploitation of workers and wage earners. Especially today, the rapid development of science and technology , particularly the Fourth Industrial Revolution, has not rendered the theory of surplus value and ownership relations obsolete; on the contrary, it has been and continues to demonstrate more clearly and concretely the correctness of the theory of surplus value.
These fundamental issues define the scientific and revolutionary nature of Marxism-Leninism. They also form the basis for the vitality and vigorous development of Marxism-Leninism. Currently, the Fourth Industrial Revolution has led to a rapid development of productive forces, providing humanity with more opportunities for growth, benefits, and positive values; however, it also brings many challenges, negative consequences, and the upheaval of many traditional values. Taking advantage of this context, hostile forces have sought to undermine, distort, and misrepresent the theories of Marxism-Leninism with arguments claiming that Marxism-Leninism is "outdated" and "no longer relevant" to the 21st century. Many opinions deliberately equate Marxist-Leninist theory with the collapse of the socialist model in the Soviet Union and Eastern European countries, thereby claiming that the Party's adoption of Marxism-Leninism as its ideological foundation and guiding principle is "a mistake" and "needs to be changed,"...
However, in reality, in some countries like China and Vietnam, communist parties remain loyal to Marxist-Leninist theory. Especially in Vietnam, Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought have always been taken as the ideological foundation and guiding principle for action. And on that foundation, the Communist Party of Vietnam has led the revolution from one victory to another, bringing our country from poverty and backwardness to become a country with prestige in the international arena. Especially, after nearly 40 years of reform, "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today" (2). Vietnam has become a country approaching development, with political and social stability, and the goal of "a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization" is increasingly being realized. Every theory is only valuable when it truly penetrates practice, guides the practical actions of the masses, and contributes to the transformation of reality. Therefore, the achievements of the revolution, especially the results of the reform process over the past nearly 40 years, are the clearest evidence of the enduring value of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought.
Although hostile and reactionary forces constantly seek to distort and deny the revolutionary and scientific nature of Marxism-Leninism, the historical practice of humanity over the past 170 years has affirmed that Marxism-Leninism is indeed a progressive, scientific, and revolutionary social theory. Through dialectical materialism and historical materialism, Marxism-Leninism has scientifically explained the most fundamental issues of human society, especially the movement, development, and mutual replacement of socio-economic formations, and the inevitable demise of capitalism as well as the inevitable progression towards socialism and communism.
Marxism-Leninism, as an open, revolutionary, scientific, and constantly developing doctrine, is an important foundation for us to cultivate faith and actively combat distorted arguments that deny the revolutionary and scientific nature of Marxism-Leninism, contributing to the protection of the Party's ideological foundation in the current new situation.
