The City People's Council has approved a draft resolution on the Plan for organizing regular sessions of the City People's Council in 2025; a draft resolution on establishing a Supervisory Delegation of the City People's Council to implement measures to ensure the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level in Tuyen Quang city; a resolution on the results of supervision by the City People's Council; the City People's Council has considered and implemented the process of dismissal and election of additional positions.

The meeting assessed the results of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in 2024, the direction and tasks in 2025 and reviewed and approved many important contents under its authority. In 2024, the city's economy continued to develop, some socio-economic indicators increased significantly compared to the same period in 2023 and exceeded the set plan such as: total retail sales of social goods and consumer services reached 100.1% of the plan (up 9.9%); export value reached 128.8 million USD (up 9.6%); domestic budget revenue reached 1,496.5 billion VND (reaching 100.1% of the plan); attracted over 1.1 million tourists (exceeding 23.9% of the annual plan); social revenue from tourism exceeded 66.4% of the annual plan.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen requested that all sectors synchronously deploy solutions to promote socio-economic development right from the beginning of 2025, focusing on promoting information and propaganda work, creating consensus in the implementation process. Enhance the sense of responsibility in solving work, removing difficulties and obstacles for people and businesses, promoting production and business development, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development plan in 2025.

The city continues to effectively mobilize resources to build and develop Tuyen Quang city into a class I urban area and the Urban Development Program of Tuyen Quang city to 2025, with a vision to 2030; pay attention to and carry out well social security work, take good care of people's lives during Tet; organize activities to serve people to enjoy Spring, welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty safely, healthily, economically, creating momentum and determination to successfully implement the goals and tasks of 2025. Thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020 - 2025.
