On the morning of December 27, the Department of Foreign Affairs held a conference to review foreign affairs work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh chaired the conference.

In 2024, Dak Lak attracted hundreds of foreign delegations to seek investment opportunities, cooperate and participate in projects in the province. Mobilizing foreign aid not included in official development assistance for the fourth consecutive time exceeded the annual plan. Economic diplomacy has made a splash when successfully organizing the Business and Investment Conference between India and the Central Highlands provinces, supporting businesses exporting bananas and durian to new markets. To date, the province has established relations with 9 foreign localities and is currently promoting further expansion, in order to better meet the cooperation needs of people and businesses.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives with outstanding achievements contributing to foreign affairs work in 2024.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh requested relevant departments, branches and units to continue to focus on improving the quality of local promotion activities abroad, focusing on deepening local-level cooperation. Research, review and advise the Provincial People's Committee and competent authorities to perfect the legal basis and regulations on foreign affairs; strongly implement decentralization and authorization, associated with promoting administrative reform and digital transformation, to remove bottlenecks in mechanisms and policies, creating all favorable conditions for people, organizations, businesses and foreign partners when participating in foreign affairs activities. Continue to improve the organization and apparatus for foreign affairs at all levels, branches and localities to ensure "refinement, strength, compactness, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency"; thereby, improving the quality of research and consulting work to serve the socio-economic development tasks of the province...
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit to Ms. Lai Thi My, specialist of the International Cooperation Department (Department of Foreign Affairs) for her achievements in work from 2023 to 2024; awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives for their outstanding achievements in contributing to foreign affairs work in 2024; awarded the title of Excellent Labor Collective to 2 collectives under the Department of Foreign Affairs for their outstanding achievements in performing their tasks in 2024.
