Visiting the family of Mr. Hau Mi Sung, Ban Bo village, Yen Dinh commune, Bac Me district, with the support of the Yen Dinh commune youth union, he was entrusted with the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to access policy capital. Mr. Na and his family invested in economic development. It is known that in 2021, Mr. Sung received a loan of 80 million VND from the Social Policy Bank (SPB) along with his family's own capital to invest in raising buffaloes and cows. With capital, Mr. Sung repaired the farm, bought 1 buffalo and 1 cow. Determined that in order to raise cattle, he had to grow grass, he also converted 1 hectare of hilly land to grow grass, had a source of food, and applied scientific applications to animal husbandry such as artificial insemination for cows, so up to now, from 1 initial mother cow, his family has developed a herd of 8 cows. Mr. Sung said: With capital, he also bought more goats to develop the economy. At the end of March, after many years of saving, he will rebuild his house, so his family sold the buffalo to have more money to buy materials.
Like Mr. Sung, Mr. Dang Van Giang, a member of the Youth Union of Lung Quay village, Duong Hong commune, Bac Me district, with the will and aspiration to get rich, has taken advantage of his family's abandoned hilly land to develop a forest planting model. Currently, he is taking care of more than 2 hectares of crops, including acacia, fat, cinnamon... In order to expand the area and improve production efficiency, in 2021, through the Youth Union and village meetings, Mr. Giang boldly borrowed 100 million VND from the district's Social Policy Bank. After the disbursement, he invested in buying more fertilizer and planting new cinnamon trees. He said that after the trees are ready to be exploited, it will not only help bring in a stable source of income but also create conditions for him to repay the loan, continue to expand the model, and aim for sustainable economic development.

Identifying supporting union members and young people to develop the economy and reduce poverty sustainably is one of the key tasks in implementing emulation movements. The District Youth Union has directed the grassroots unions to proactively coordinate with the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to deploy many synchronous solutions to transfer policy credit capital to the right beneficiaries. Mr. Vang Bao Ngoc, Secretary of the Bac Me District Youth Union shared: Since being entrusted by the Social Policy Bank for lending, the Bac Me District Youth Union has received and deployed loans for union members and young people from poor, near-poor and policy households to develop the economy and reduce poverty. Up to now, the total outstanding loan balance managed by the Youth Union is over 98,824 billion VND with 45 savings and loan groups, with over 1,792 households borrowing. Effective coordination and proper management of loan capital have helped thousands of union members and young people in the district have jobs with stable incomes.
In the coming time, the District Youth Union will continue to promote activities to support young people in economic development, while implementing plans to review and replicate effective economic models. At the same time, proactively coordinate with functional agencies and banks to help young people access preferential loans and access scientific and technological advances so that young people can start successful businesses.
